As far as practicable an" in accor"ance with the proce"ures of the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act of 2006, a chil" in conflict with the law shall be maintaine" in his:her famil#. 6,7 Educational System. ;"ucational institutions shall work together with families, communit# organi<ations an" agencies in the pre ention of !u enile "elin9uenc# an" in the rehabilitation an" reintegration of chil" in conflict with the law. (chools shall pro i"e a"e9uate, necessar# an" in"i i"uali<e" e"ucational schemes for chil"ren manifesting "ifficult beha ior an" chil"ren in conflict with the law. 1n cases where chil"ren in conflict with the law are taken into custo"# or "etaine" in rehabilitation centers, the# shoul" be pro i"e" the opportunit# to continue learning un"er an alternati e learning s#stem with basic literac# program or nonformal e"ucation accre"itation e9ui alenc# s#stem. 637 Mass Media. 8he mass me"ia shall pla# an acti e role in the promotion of chil" rights, an" "elin9uenc# pre ention b# rela#ing consistent messages through a balance" approach. 0e"ia practitioners shall, therefore, ha e the "ut# to maintain the highest critical an" professional stan"ar"s in reporting an" co ering cases of chil"ren in conflict with the law. 1n all publicit# concerning chil"ren, the best interest of the chil" shoul" be the primor"ial an" paramount concern.
