Overall, I (strongly) recommend Its certainly a good (Nevertheless) its much better than

My favorite film of the last few months was Quantum of Solace. Its the latest James Bond film but its very different from previous films.

The first thing you notice about the film is that Bond is younger and even more aggressive than usual. The female character is also a spy and more than the usual Bond girl. In addition, its worth seeing because its much more realistic.

One problem with the film is that it happens in lots of locations and the plot is a bit too complicated. It also needs to be about 15 minutes shorter. Nevertheless, the scenes in the desert have lots of action and the criminal characters are particularly evil and interesting.

So overall Id recommend the film as its a new kind of Bond movie and not the usual predictable mix of fancy cars and stupid gadgets. Its certainly a good choice if you want to watch a DVD next Friday night.

Telephones and email have made communication between people less personal.
Topic: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Telephones and email have made communication between people less personal. Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion. Technology has brought both convenience and controversy. While many people argue that devices such as the telephone and email have made communication between people less personal, others believe that the telephone and Technology such as email have the opposite effect. I believe that telephones and email have made communication more personal since they help people stay in contact with others over long distances and allow for more frequent communication. First, telephones and email allow for more personalized communication. Before the telephone and email, people had to wait weeks, or even months, for letters from friends and family. However, through the telephone and email, people can contact others at any time. For example, businessmen traveling abroad can contact the boss and discuss the progress of a sales meeting and any steps that need to be taken immediately, rather than waiting until returning home. After phoning the boss, the salesman can then phone his wife and child asking about how their day went. Email also adds the ability for the

husband's wife to sendpictures of herself or their new born daughter learning to walk. The more sophisticated technology allows them to stay in contact despite the distance.

Computer is widespreadly used. It can be found in schools, in offices, even in homes. Every body rushes to learn how to use computers to have the advantages coming from this modern machine. In fact, computer has made life easier. Computer helps people do many things quicker and faster than they did before. A very clear evidence is that documents can be composed without papers. In our forefathers time, a draft paper should be used before they have a finished one. After draft, they must spend a certain time to rewrite in another paper to make it better to look at. Besides, there are many soft-wares which can be installed into computers to reduce the amount of time for the accomplishment of tasks. Typically, with Photoshop, a comic-book author duplicates the same pictures without drawing them from time to time. The second reason for the fact that computer has made life easier is its storage capability. Office workers nowadays escape the working environment with occupation of documents. As a matter of fact, all the documents are converted into file formats and are stored in the hard disk, which also help the looking for documents easier and more rapid. Further more, the documents in files are able to be copied and sent among computers in all over the world. In other words, people no longer move so many documents in papers from place to place when they must move their working offices. Last but not least, people can entertain with computers. With computers have nowadays been linked together in the world wide web, searching information or reading newspaper can be done at home without going out of house. A son can easily find an old song for his father in just some minutes with google search engine and his father can enjoy the song sooner than he expected in his childhoods time. More amazingly, people can buy things from home if they know how to use basic computer and internet. Most often, people use computers to play games online. This is a very modern type of relaxing and spending their leisure time. In summary, people are used to the advantages brought from a so-called wonder of science. Although there are some disadvantages of using computers people have not counted, computer obviously becomes a friend of every body. This facility is still studied for more utilities to serve human beings.

Most of people like to travel any place.Travelling by plane has many advantages.Air travel is one of the fastest way of travelling on our planet. For example, when travelling to the same destination,a ship can take monthly while a plane will only take hours.Obviously, speed is the number one advantage for travelling in an air plane. Also, temperatures are kept to a comfortable level, entertainment may be available. You can choose to listen music, watch videos and others on an air plane. The level of comfort also depends on the type of seats that you have bought tickets. However,it is very fast and comfortable kind of travelling, good services,100% relax and this flying is fun for the passengers. Despite the disadvantages,I prefer travelling by plane.I feel more relaxed when I reach my destination and I have amazing trip when i travelling by plane.
Write about the advantages and disadvantages of traveling by plane.

I went travel by transport such as: ferry, bus, train, motorcycleetc, but I am not to travel by airplane. With the various methods of travel nowadays, traveling by airplane is by far the most convenient and enjoyable method. I thing that is has the advantages and disadvantages when who travel by plane. Firstly, people can now travel from one place to another quickly with the efficient plane. For example when who by ship, that is can spends weeks or months while a plan can spends hours or days. It is more comfortable to ride

in when the destination is far away. Time-saving is very important especially for businessmen or who important. Secondly, it has long been our dream that we can fly same bird. Only when the airplanes appeared, people can fulfill their dream, although sitting on a bird-machine. Finally, airplanes contribute a lot in the development of globalization as people can now commute from one place to another more efficiently in a short period of time. This can bring people from different countries close together and hence increase the communication among different nations. But airplane has some disadvantages such as. There is always the possibility a terrorist will hijack a plane and then using that is a bomb. Sometime airplane can be aviation accidents and incidents. For example the on September 11 attack at the twin towers of the word trade center in New York City. Or one airplane French 447 was missing in the Atlantic Ocean on January 1/2009, an aircraft with 216 passengers and 12 employees of airplane. For all these reasons, the invention of airplanes is definitely useful and meaningful to the people of the world.

The advance of science and technology has brought the different parts of the world into closer touch with one another than ever before. We are able to reach distant lands within a very short time. We are also able to communicate with people far away by

means of the telephone and the wireless. The invention of the printing machine has made it possible for us to learn from books and newspapers about people in other lands.

Writing an excellent restaurant review can give the reader a wonderful picture of what it would be like to eat at that restaurant. In addition you can get paid higher from a company such as Associated Content if you are dishing out a well-written restaurant review. There are certain areas that need to be covered in a restaurant review. The following are some suggestions as to what should be covered. Write about the atmosphere of the restaurant. Ask yourself some questions. For example, "What does the restaurant look like? Is the restaurant casual or formal? What type of dcor does it have? Is the restaurant clean? Does the restaurant have restrooms?" These types of questions will help the reader to begin to form a picture in their mind as to what the restaurant is like. Talk about the restaurants menu. What type of food do they serve? Do they serve Mexican, Italian or all American food? Share some of the different foods they have along with the cost. Let the reader know where the food ranges in as far as price. Is it inexpensive, average or expensive in cost? Share what your experience was with the service. Were the employees friendly? Was the service quick and efficient? Were the employees helpful in sharing how the food is prepared and served? Have information on what makes the restaurant special and unique. Every restaurant should have something that stands out about them. It could be the salsa they make at your table, the way the employees are dressed or the funky style of menus they provide. For example, I once went to a Mexican restaurant in Utah that had a man made waterfall in the center of the restaurant. Every half an hour there would be employees dressed in their bathing suits diving off from the top of the waterfall. That experience made that restaurant memorable and unique. You could also include information about the history of the restaurant. When did it first open? Is the restaurant a franchise or is it individually owned? Who owns the restaurant? This will give the reader a little background information about the restaurants history. When you write a restaurant review be as detailed as you can. For example, don't just write the staff was friendly. Talk about how the staff was friendly. Did they smile and greet you? Did they go out of their way to meet your requests?

Restaurant review

By writing about the atmosphere, food, cost, service, history and the uniqueness of the restaurant you are doing an excellent job in providing a snapshot as to what the restaurant is like.

This week, students will be writing a restaurant review using the following steps and this worksheet. A teacher sample paragraph, "A Great Greek Restaurant," follows. Step One: Choose the restaurant you will review. Step Two: Make a place for notes according to the four categories. Step Three: Make detailed notes for each category. Step Four: Follow your notes and decide which things to include and which to exclude. Step Five: Remember to use transitions when changing topics inside your paragraph. Step Six: Make sure you have written a good concluding sentence. A Great Greek Restaurant The Kalamata Greek Restaurant, near the corner of Cambie and Broadway in Vancouver, is my favourite Greek-style restaurant. My family loves to eat the many dishes, including souvlaki, humous, Greek salad and more. To judge a Greek restaurant, the quality of the calamari is most important and at Kalamata the quality is excellent. The batter is light, the spicing is perfect, and the deep frying is just right. Be careful, however, because the portions are huge, so dont order too much food. In addition, the retsina is lightly flavoured of pine tar and served at the best and coldest temperature. The service is quite good overall, but the servers can sometimes be busy and getting the bill requires some patience. As far as the ambiance is concerned, the restaurant is very clean, though a bit noisy due to the hardwood floors. The best thing for me as a family man,

is that it is relatively inexpensive to eat there for four. Usually my bill is about eighty to ninety dollars, including wine and a 15% tip. If you decide to go, The Kalamata is suitable for families and groups and celebrations as big as twelve people or so. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Greek style food.

Although we were a party of 15 and the place was packed, the wait was only 15 minutes. They sat us down and we had a waitress with us promptly to take our drink order. There cuisine is more along the line of good old fashioned Americana food. Fried foods, ribs, barbeque and burgers. They have a small variety of salads and soups but it had something for everyone, whether in a diet or not. There prices are reasonable for the amount and quality of food given. That night I was very ravenous and felt like going with something big and filling, I wasn't watching in a diet that night. For an appetizer I ordered a broccoli cheddar soup. The soup was brought out in less than 10 minutes with saltine crackers. It was hot and smelled great, it went with great with the ugly and cold weather outside. The soup was really

good thick and creamy and it made me happy and content while waiting for my food. For my main course I ordered the Jack Daniel tower,...

) I just finished reading The Ka and wanted to thank you for writing it. Your narrations of the tombs were especially well written, and captured my full attention. In addition, it was both interesting and informative to become acquainted with the richness of historical data included throughout this work. You cleverly wove together the threads of fiction with the twine of nonfiction to create a colorful and fascinating tableau. Perhaps Im wrong, but my guess is the main protagonist embodied many of your values and perhaps even a few of your personality traits. She appeared to be of a generation closer to my own rather than either the present or ancient day. Brava!

Your Life Manual: Practical Steps to Genuine Happiness

Sample Book Review

Everything that you do (or dont do) has the same desired outcome: Increasing your happiness. Even so, we tend to sabotage these efforts. In this book, David Ambrose says that everyone deserves happiness, and can achieve it with a little effort and awareness. Contrary to popular belief, fame and fortune have no bearing on happiness.

Beginning with a discussion of the concepts of a philosophy for happiness which includes the little known concept of Ubuntu, Your Life Manual then goes on to describe a number of principles for building a happy life, describing pitfalls and explaining their effect on the human psyche.

Next come the steps referred to in the sub-title, which the reader can take to reach the desired degree of happiness. Finally, there are a number of provocative essays discussing subjects as diverse as the power of the mind, chaos theory, the role of women, discrimination, and punishment of criminals.

Additional points worth mentioning are the inclusion of the apt parable, The Station, by Robert Hastings, and some optional audio aids, that are available for purchase and download from the books website, to guide the reader through some of the practical steps outlined.

A well structured book, Your Life Manual does a good job of describing not only what you can do to enhance happiness, but also why. It truly could be your life manual!
