Structure of Question Paper for exams - Devkota Sunil

In all, 21 questions will be set from the prescribed syllabus. The question paper will comprise of three parts (Part-I, Part-II and Part-III). The questions will be evenly distributed from the prescribed syllabus. Part-I will consist of ten short questions carrying 2 marks each. All questions will be compulsory to attempt. The answer of each question should not exceed more than two sentences. Part-II will consist of ten short answer type questions carrying 6 marks each. Candidate will attempt any eight questions out of these. A question may have two more parts. Part-III will consist of three questions carrying 16 marks each. Candidate will attempt any two questions out of these. Questions should be based on Recognizing and points recalling, Understanding (Interpreting, exemplifying, classifying, summarizing, explaining), Analyzing ( (Differentiate, organizing, classifying) and evaluating(Giving advice, suggestions, outcomes, predicting, draw conclusion)

Question making strategy


1. Break it down, categorization for clarity, cause-effect and connection (What are the parts/features/function/process of, How would you categorize) 2. Justification and use of evidence (Examples, facts, Information, data seeking type) 3. Explanation (Describe, explain, clarify, summarize, synthesize,) 4. Generalizing and predicting ( What would you recommend, is there a better solution to, what conclusions you can draw from, what are the possible solutions/resolutions to ,what are the reasons for) 5. Evaluation based on opinion (Do you agree or disagree with, what is your opinion, what are the pros and cons of) 6. Cause/effect and connection (What are the reasons/results/cause/effect/compare/contrast/How is related to/similar to/different from) 7. Interpretation (What is the purpose/goal/ objective of, what are the problems/ issues-who, what when, where, how type questions)

Question making style


1. Points recall, Functions, Illustration/Discussion a. Outline and discuss with examples any five determinants of job satisfaction. 2+4+2=8 b. Point out and discuss any five socio-ethical issues to be considered while making decision on recruitment. 2+6=8 2. Process, features, categorize, steps a. What is change? Brief the steps involved in introducing a planned change.

b. What do you mean by poultry? Categorize the Chicken found in Nepal on the basis of their breeding. c. Decision making is a more systematic and problem grounded process applicable in course of managing an organization. Explain. 3. Evaluation based on opinion, agree/disagree and give your views a. Do you agree that Micro economics is an unrealistic assumption? Give your own opinions. b. What might be the advantages of Traditional commerce over E-commerce? Which might be the best way of doing business in modern era? Give your views with logical reasons. 4. Generalizing and Predicting, Problem solving, Giving solution, suggestion, drawing conclusion a. What advise will you give to the prime minister of Nepal to improve the agriculture sector of Nepal. b. What might be the possible reasons for employee to resist change? Explain. c. One of the limitations of Organizational behavior is that, Theoretical advances in OB and psychology are highly dependent upon empirical confirmation and disconfirmation. Do you have any solution to resolve this problem? 5. Cause, effect, connection and contrast a. How will you differentiate gross national Income and gross social product? How are net domestic product and net national Income are related? b. Define organizational conflict. What might be the main causes of organizational conflict?
