Summary of Skills & Experience : 1) Desk Operation of Turbine & Boiler Area:
Responsible for safe Plant Operation Start up, Shut down, Emergency Handling, Troubleshooting from TG & Boiler side. All TG Aux. startup before TG Rolling & monitoring the healthiness of site/desk parameters. Turbine startup based on cold/warm/hot condition. All stabilization of critical parameters. Familiar with Startup of Motor BFP & rolling of Turbine BFP. To start, stop, synch and de-synch of Turbine, Bop system according to respective SOPs. To maintain and establish the operating units parameters in normal operating range from operation desk. Familiar with Boiler startup with oil & coal firing. Able to manage Coal mill operation. Check the components for any leakages, malfunctioning, defects, damages etc. Ensure timely repairs of the deficiencies. Familiar with the protection relays and able to analyze faults with respect to the operation of the relays. Fully familiar with the Blackout situations and able to safely start units from this situation. Able to manage safe shutdown of the units in emergency situations and break downs. Maintain coordination and very effective communication with field operator and optimally manage the operating load during parallel operation or island mode. Well versed with co-ordinate work practices amongst operation and all Maintenance Sections. Records all operation related activities including Log Books, Check List, Shift Routines, PTWs, and Logic Forcing Register etc. Responsible for implementation of Integrated Management Systems and other Continuous Improvement Plans in Dept. 1

2) Commissioning & Operation Purview:

Turbine (2X600MW) Lube oil flushing stage wise scheme/looping finalization, with auxiliary equipment trial operation & parameter setting. Main Turbine Lube oil pressure setting, turbine oil injection test, over-speed checking & setting. Main Turbine Jacking Oil system readiness with Seal Oil System different positioning setting checking, readiness of H2 & Air side system seal oil required backup system. EH oil system flushing & readiness based on Main turbine/MSV/RSV/ICV/GV & TDBFP system. TDBFP Lube oil pressure setting, turbine oil injection test, over-speed checking & setting. Generator Rotor & Stator ATT preparation & checking. MBFP/TDBFP/CEP/Vacuum Pump/OCCW/CCCW Pump No load /load Trial Run preparation. OCCW/CCCW/Condensate/feed water line flushing with auxiliary equipment trial operation & setting. Condenser Flood /Vacuum tightness system preparation & checking. Chemical Cleaning preparation & execution for the LP/HP Condenser with extraction/condensate line piping.

3) Pre-Commissioning Purview:
Turbine Lube Oil/Generator Seal oil/EH oil system/Stator cooling water/HP-LP Bypass / Generator Seal Oil Flushing Scheme finalization with required material BOQ calculation for temporary looping & complete the same at site. Walk-down inspection & punch point preparation. Main steam/CRH / HRH/HP-LP Bypass/ Gland seal line Steam blowing line Scheme preparation for steam blowing with final BOQ calculation.

4) Erection Purview:
ESSAR (2X600MW) Unit Multi-cylinder Turbine (HIP/LP-01/LP-02) complete alignment with Axial & Radial Flow Path Clearance preparation, Rotor Run-Out, Axial Float ,Slope & Catnary leveling & checking, Bearing Housing assembly with Thrust & General Bearing proper clearance. Well acquainted with turbine
Governor and Turbovisory system like (axial shift, differential, expansion, vibration etc) & activity like Horn drop

test, swing check, seal bore checking, bolt stretching, coupling face-run out check, roll check and bomb check etc. ESSAR (2X600MW) Unit Generator (300MT) lifting & Generator Rotor (65MT) insertion arrangement scheme finalization. Air Gap/Fan/H2 & Air side Oil/Gland Seal clearance, Magnetic Centre preparation, Generator Air leak test arrangement preparation & checking. ESSAR (2X600MW) Unit TDBFP (4 X 9MW) all critical embedments & GERB vibration spring placing, complete alignment with Axial & Radial Flow Path Clearance preparation, Rotor Run out, Axial Float ,Slope & Centenary leveling & checking. ESSAR (2X600MW) Unit MBFP/CEP/OCCW/CCCW/Vacuum/Makeup Pump erection & complete alignment preparation with checking before & after the piping.

Accomplishment:
International Business Development (Essar Power Ltd., Mumbai) Deputation for 3 months (4th Sep.20103rd Dec. 2011) based on my specialization over Thermal Power Plant & Site technical knowledge to explore the best opportunity for Essar Power Ltd. in South African Country. Equipment finalization/ technical commercial evaluation of Project/PPA Analysis/Transmission & Distribution scheme finalization was key responsibility of this profile. Completed 2*600 MW simulator training at Essar Power & Learning Centre. 2
