At V!VA Thornhill Woods Retirement Community, we believe in giving back to the community and we want to encourage everyone, including seniors, to do the same. Thats why we are hosting the My Time to Give Volunteer Fair at our community in Vaughan, Ontario. Think of this Volunteer Fair as a job fair for volunteers! Students, seniors and people of all ages will be attending as they search for their perfect volunteer opportunity.

About the Event

We want to connect volunteers with organizations that need them. The My Time to Give Volunteer Fair will take place at V!VA Thornhill Woods Retirement Community. Exhibitor booths will be stationed throughout our retirement community. The fair is open to the public and V!VA will be promoting it to local seniors groups, schools and the general public. V!VA will also be advertising the Fair in local media. Exhibitors are expected to include local community organizations, businesses, non-profit organizations and health care organizations. We will also have guest presenters speaking about the benefits of volunteerism.

Cost
This event is free for non-profit organizations $50 registration fee applies to for-profit organizations

Sponsorship Opportunities
In addition to exhibitors, we are looking for local businesses to support this event, either through sponsorship dollars or with donations of prizes that will be raffled off. Sponsors will receive recognition in promotional materials, media and advertising, through e-mail and during the event itself. Sponsors will also have an opportunity to speak at the seminar portion of this event. Waiver and Indemnity In consideration of me being permitted to participate in the My Time to Give Volunteer Fair, co-ordinated by V!VA Thornhill Woods Retirement Community; I hereby acknowledge and agree for myself: 1.  That I hereby release and discharge the V!VA Thornhill Woods Retirement Community, and its employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, damages, actions or causes of action for any loss, injury or damage to my person or my property incurred by reason of my participation in the program, including any that may be due to negligence of any of those persons; 2.  That I hereby indemnify and hold harmless the persons mentioned in clause 1, as well as the designated organization or group facilitating this program, against any and all liabilities, actions, claims and demands whatsoever that may be made against them, or any of them, arising from or by reason of my participation in this program. 3.  Photos may be taken during the My Time to Give Volunteer Fair. I give permission for V!VA Thornhill Woods to use photos taken of myself or my booth for promotional purposes. I hereby declare that I have read the foregoing waiver and indemnity and fully understand its terms.
