GENERAL CONDITIONS : All parts of the construction shall be finished with first class workmanship to the fullest talent and meaning of the plans and these Specification, and no to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer and the Owner. SECTION 1 1. Clearing The building / canteen shall be leveled according to the plans and cleared of rubbish, roots, and the other perishable and objectionable matters to a suitable subgrade. . CONCRETING AND /ASONR0

1. C#n+re!e W#r"( )nless otherwise indicated in the drawing or specified herein, all concrete works shall be done in accordance with the specification of the American *oncrete +nstitute. ,A*+ %'-.-/0. All concrete shall be mi!ed thoroughl until there is uniform distribution of the cement and aggregates, and should be deposited as nearl as practicable in its final position to, care being taken to avoid segregation of the aggregates. #ater to be used for mi!ing shall be clean from injurious amount of oil, acids, alkalis, salts and other organic materials. . Pr#1#r!i#ning #. C#n+re!e All concrete works shall be done in accordance with the standard specification for plain and reinforced concrete as adopted b the 1overnment. Selected cements must meet the re2uirements of portland and po33olan cements, and as approved b the Engineer in charge of the construction. The mi!ture of cement plaster for concrete hollow block wall finishes indicate in the drawing shall be ' part cement and % parts sand. SECTION ) TILE FINISHES

The toilet and bathroom floors shall be roughed finished. The living room, dining room, and the bedrooms shall be plain finished. +nteriors and e!terior corners of tiled floors and walls shall be provided with the necessar tile mouldings. "efore the tiles and mouldings are laid in palce, the shall be soaked in water. <ortar to be used in settings the tiles and mouldings shall be a mi!ture of ' part cement and 5 parts sand b volume. See drawings for si3es. SECTION 1. L$24er =umber to be used in this project shall be Tanguile . This must be well seasoned, thoroughl dr and free from loose or unsound knots, shakes or other imperfections impairing their strength or appearances. . Fra2e( All wood frames for windows, doors, cabinets, and closets shall be done as much as possible, with carefull fitted mortise and tendon joints. All door and windows frames to be installed on concrete hollow block and other masonr walls shall be anchored with >8mm c.w nail all around the contact surfaces, and all such contact surfaces shall first be painted with solignum brand wood preservative. All une!posed lumber shall be painted with Solignum. SECTION 5 TINS/ITR0 AND SHEET /ETAL WORKS CARPENTR0

The roof shall be covered with *orr. 1.+ sheet ga. 58 complete with downspout %?dia. @A* @ipe, gutters, flashing, rivets and other accessories. Bidge rolls, hip rolls and valle s shall lap the roofing sheets at least 5(& mm. TheCis shall be riveted to the roofing, in addition to the rivets engaging the 1.+ straps in securing the roofing sheets to the purlins. 1a. 58 1.+ sheet gutter shall be riveted and soldered and shall have a minimum slpoe towards the drain of '/-? per foot length.

SECTION 6

ELECTRICAL WORKS

The electrical installation shall be done in accordance with the approved plans and under the supervision and control of licensed of @rofessional Electrical Engineer or <aster Electrician. All Electrical works and materials shall conform to the provision of the latest edition of the ;ational Electric *ode of the @hilippines. The t pe of electrical services to be applied to the building shall be 55&A, A* single phase. And the electrical wiring shall be installed and running thru @A* electrical conduit, fittings and appurtenances that conform to +SO dimension. The panel board shall be provided with a circuit director . SECTION 7 PL8/&ING WORKS

All plumbing works for this project shall be done in accordance and under the supervision of licensed Sanitar Engineers or <aster @lumber. The plumbing installation shall be conforming to the provisions of the ;ational @lumbing *ode of the @hils. And the rules and regulation enforced in this localit . Storm drainage line shall be '(&mm dia. And the main line shall be D? @A* pipe. SECTION 9 1. D##r( Eoors and doorframes shall conform to the si3e, designs and kind of materials shown in the details of doors. All wooden doors shall be hung on at least % pieces of loose pin hinges. . Win'#3( Falousie windows to be installed shall conform to the detail drawings. Aluminum screens shall be provided and at least '5 mm round be installed on all jalousie windows. DOORS AND WINDOWS

PAINTING WORKS

All painting works in this project, e!cept as hereinafter, shall be done with the use of Eutch "o @aint products, whose specification are hereb declared and made a part of this specification, with the same force and effects as if written herein full. "efore painting, all surfaces shall be cleaned, smoothed and freed from dust, dirt, mortar, rust and other foreign substances. All paints shall be spread evenl and carefull . ;o painting shall be done on outside work in e!tremel cold frost , fogg or damp weather. This should be performed when the temperature is above (& degrees 9ahrenheit.
