Product note IS2 Series Modular metal cabinets for automation and distribution

The range of IS2 cabinets in kits, is a complete offer of metal enclosures which can be placed both side-by-side and back-to-back, designed for making automation switchboards and command and controlgear for complex technological plants. The simplicity and rapidity of mounting the structure allow optimal management of space and warehouses, while the multi-purpose technical solutions, allow its use in all industrial applications. The kit version keeps all the technical, mechanical and electric characteristics of the mounted version. In fact, it is possible to build all the possible congurations, such as switchboards with back plate, switchboards for distribution, for applications with 19 rack frame, PC switchboards up to form 2 segregation and MCC with xed drawers starting from the kit version as well.

Construction characteristics
These modular enclosures, allow electric switchboards installed on the floor to be made, guaranteeing maximum simplicity and rapidity of mounting and offering numerous customization possibilities based on the wide range of versions and accessories in the catalogue. The H=100 mm plinth is always mounted on the structure to facilitate handling. The version with single door covers widths 600-800-1000 mm, while the version with double door is available for W=1000-1200 mm. The painting done using thermosetting powders, of grey orange peel RAL 7035 colour guarantees optimal results in terms of resistance to atmospheric agents, scratches and fingerprints. The front door, hinged either on the right or left is fitted with a handle with key lock with four closing pointsable to provide IP65 degree of protection. The version with transparent door is fitted with screenprinted safety glass 4 mm thick which, apart from providing considerable structural rigidity, is pleasant to see and easily fits in with the various surroundings. All the products in the range comply with the national and international standards in force, in particular with the CEI EN 61439-1 and 2 Standard, and have obtained UL approval. The mechanical impact rating is IK10 for the version with blind door and IK09 for the version with glass door. with W=300 mm. The 19 fixed and swing rack frame range is completed with cabinet with single compartments and for apparatus mounted on a DIN rail or on a plate. Three different heights: 1800, 2000 and 2200 mm, five different depths: 400, 500, 600, 800 and 1000 mm in the following widths: 400, 600, 800, 1000 and 1200 mm are available. The IS2 series is also available in the mounted versions. The offer is completed with a series of accessories which go from ventilation, to air conditioning, voltage indicators and busbar systems.

The useful height is always 100 mm less compared to the external dimensions of the switchboard; for the version with compartments the useful height is 200 mm less. Double doors also available with intermediate upright or glass doors + internal cable compartment W=200/400 mm. Doors for side closing also available.
