(U)Supervisory Special Agent Gregory J. Gilmartin, Federal Bureau of

Investigation (FBI), joined the FBI as a special agent on 05117/1989. His first assignment -
was Honolulu, Hawaii, where he was assigned from 0911989 until 06/2000. Mr.
Gilmartin was assigned the Las Vegas Field Division of the FBI from 06/2000 until
06/2002 when he was re-assigned to the FBI Headquarters in the Polygraph Unit of the
Investigative Services Division. He is presently the Unit Chief of the Polygraph Unit.

'-\ ~)In the summer of2001, Mr. Gilmartin was the acting supervisor of the Foreign
Counter-Intelligence/Counter-Terrorism Squad in the Las Vegas Field Division. On
approximately 09/05/2001, Supervisory Special Agent David M. Staretz became the -
squad. Mr. Gilmartin was shown a FBI

and that her son was approximately' seven years:.old. It did not appear that anyone else
was living at the apartment beside~ , land her son.

\} ~)Mr. Gilmartin was shown a sketch that was prepared on 10/12/2001 ofan
individual that accompanied Ziad Jarrah to the Payless Rent a Car office at the Las Vegas
Airport on 06/07/2001. Mr. Gilmartin stated that he had not seen that sketch, and did not
use it in any investigation conducted by him. Mr. Gilmartin was asked ifhe participated
in any investigation to identify the unknown male depicted in the sketch. Mr. Gilmartin
said that he did not. This would include any investigation at the Circus Circus Hotel and
Casino. Mr. Gilmartin noted that on\0911112001 he was in Los Angeles, CA conducting
polygraph examinations as part of an.unrelated investigation, and did not return to Las
Vegas until 09114/2001. '
