Welcome! We extend a special welcome to our guests, visitors and all who join us in worship today.

Please let us know of your presence or any prayer requests you have by filling out one of the cards in the pew rack and placing them in the offering plate. We hope that our church home becomes your church home and the spiritual place where you grow through the Word of God. Nursery care for children up to three years old is located on the main floor of the Welcome Center across from the library. Older children attending the church service are encouraged to borrow a Toddler Tote filled with activities as you enter the Sanctuary. Concerning the Sacrament of the Altar We believe that Jesus offers Himself to us in the Sacrament His true body and blood, for the forgiveness of sins. We also share the scriptural concern for those who participate in the Lords supper that they recognize what they are receiving (1 Corinthians 11:27). Therefore, we ask that all who desire to receive the Lords Supper please carefully examine themselves using the communion information card found in the pew rack. Communion is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sundays at both services. For those who desire, we offer gluten-free wafers (please give an indication to the Pastor or Elder) and non-alcoholic wine (located in the inner circle of the individual cup tray).

GENEROSITY TIP OF THE MONTH JANUARY Practical suggestions to aid Disciples of Jesus in taking on the character of Jesus, especially the character attribute of generosity. During this past season of joy and goodness, there was a whole lot of cooking (and baking and making) going on. And, certainly one of our desires is to offer the best of our hospitality and family recipes. However, eating the best and paying for the best are not always the same. So, before your next trip to the grocery store, take time to consider where you shop, what you are shopping for and how much you are paying for the merchandise and how much you are paying for the marketing and prestige. Sure, there are non-negotiables, like real maple syrup vs. Log Cabin or Jiff peanut butter vs. Better Valu, but milk is milk, and eggs are eggs (unless theyre country eggs!). Of course, there are always health considerations in what you choose to eat; however, often times we can find the same food, with the same quality for less with just a little bit of research, effort, and patience. (This practice can also apply to clothing stores, furniture stores, hardware stores, etc.) TIP OF THE MONTH: Negotiate with yourself for cheaper prices 1. Take time to identify no more than 5 non-negotiables for grocery items that you buy regularly. 2. Each time you go to the grocery store this month, purchase the brand (or generic items if available) that is the best deal, except for the non-negotiables. Also, if you dont use coupons, try using a few this month. 3. Take note of which ones you liked and which ones you didnt and which ones made no difference. Update your nonegotiable list as necessary. Keep the receipt and note how much money you save on your purchases. Take those savings and put half in your savings and give half to God. FUTURE TIPS: Lets Go Resale-ing!
