ANB 4, Fear Not

“But as it is written, ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart
of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.” I Corinthians 2:9

God wants you all to know what He has prepared for you. God wants you to know what
things He has to offer that this world does not. In this let God show us a gift He has for
us that no man can give, yea a gift we cannot even understand. For all those gifts which
we have not understood are mysteries to us, but God now wants us to step into the
fullness of His blessing.

“For there is nothing hidden except to be revealed, nor is anything kept secret in order
that it may be made known.” Mark 4:22 (Amplified). So what has not yet entered the
heart of man is waiting to enter, we just have to give it the chance. What is waiting to
enter, “the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.”

Let us look at one such thing: the gift of never having to fear or worry.

“Then said Joshua (a great Old Testament leader), ‘Open the mouth of the cave and bring
out those five kings (of the Israelites’ enemies) to me from the cave.’. . . When they
brought out those kings to Joshua, he called for all the Israelites and told the commanders
of the men of war who went with him, ‘Come, put your feet on the necks of these kings. .
. Fear not nor be dismayed; be strong and of good courage. For thus shall the Lord do to
all your enemies against whom you fight.” Joshua 10:24

We all face daunting tasks. The Israelites left Egypt and went straight to the wilderness.
They did not know where they were going. But they had three things: God, a promise
from God, and faith.

They are God’s chosen people. They were enslaved in Egypt for a time, but God
delivered them with His Mighty hand. He told them, “Pack it up, you’re leaving, let’s go,
and I will give you the land flowing with milk and honey.” They did not know where
they were going, but they had that promise from God, and they trusted God. On their
faith they ventured into the unknown, and on their faith God brought them to the
promised land.

We too have many promises from God. God’s Word is a book of promises. Any time
you see a blessing or a gift from God in the Bible, God is promising that to you. Any
time you have a promise from God, you can act in faith and stand on it. Look around, a
few verses before and after, and you will see the condition for that promise. Look at the
condition in Joshua 10. They had to fear not and be strong and of good courage.

And that remains the condition for that promise to this day. Do you want God to take
care of all your enemies and all the situations that would seemingly stand against you?
He will, but you must do your part, you must fear not.
You see, your enemies are already under your feet. God’s Word says He has already
defeated all our enemies for us. Look at Revelation, victory is assured. Victory is not
only assured in the spiritual realm, but in this natural realm as well. “But thanks be to
God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph (as trophies of Christ’s victory).”
II Corinthians 2:14 (Amplified)

Seeing as we can obtain and in fact already have such victory, how do we see it in this
natural life. Fear not, trust God. “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of
God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care (anxieties, worries,
concerns) upon him (once and for all); for He careth for you.” I Peter 5:6, 7

When you give your cares to God, and trust Him, He takes over. Someone told me the
other day that this is weakness, and not taking responsibility for one’s own actions. It is
the opposite. It is taking the ultimate responsibility. “For whosoever will save his life
shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for My (Jesus’) sake shall find it.” Matthew
16:25. To truly save your life and all aspects thereof, you must give it to God. You must
let God become your guide and your strength, understanding He can do far more than you
ever could. Then you save your life, then you step into the fullness of the blessing God
has for you.

The One Who knows no limits wants to exalt us. When we humble ourselves before
Him, and admit that we can’t do it on our own, when we give him our cares and worries,
and believe that He cares for us, that is when we see breakthrough in our lives.

Here is how you do it. Pray this prayer. “Father God, in the name of Jesus, and
according to I Peter 5:6,7, I cast this care upon You (state your care). I know You love
me, and I know, according to Matthew 6:8, that You know what I need before I even ask.
I make the decision to worry no more about this issue. Thank You for taking care of it
for me in accordance with Your perfect will for my life. I believe I have Your wisdom to
know what I should do. Show me anything I need to know. I believe I receive all these
things now. Thank You Lord. In Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen.

You just try that and see what happens. See how you feel about your care. Watch, God
supernaturally takes it from you. When you operate in God’s system, you open yourself
to God’s blessings. Pray that prayer out loud. Pray it over anything you would worry
about. Pray it as is the first time on an issue, then if you have to pray over that issue
again, do so, but make some changes. Make the word “cast” past tense and “make” to
“made,” then make the last sentence, “I know I received all these things the first time I
asked.” God answers our prayers the first time, in changing these words we acknowledge
this and stand on our earlier prayer and receipt of these promises.

Answer every negative thought with prayer. Study the Bible and seek God. And then
watch God take your cares and make them His own. God does not have fear or worry for
us. God has quietness and confidence for us. Isaiah 30:15.
“Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground
without your Father (God), but the very hairs of your head are numbered. Fear ye not
therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:29-31

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, ‘Be thou
removed, and be thou cast into the sea, and [whosoever] shall not doubt in his heart, but
shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever
he saith.” Mark 11:23. “And nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Matthew 17:20

“And the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.” Isaiah 58:8. God’s got your back.

“I (Paul, the writer) would have you wise in what is good and simple (innocent) in what
is evil. And the God of peace will soon crush satan under your feet.” Romans 16:20

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power
of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19

“If God is for us who can be against us.” “Nay, in all these things we are more than
conquerors through Him that loved us (Jesus Christ/God).” Romans 8:31, 37

“Peace I (Jesus) leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth,
give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27

With God, nothing can hurt us, nothing can stop us. What can we fear? Praise the Lord
