Functions

Mute / Stand-by button Press during audio streaming or during a phone call to turn hearing instrument microphones on / off (mute). Press for 3 seconds to turn hearing instruments on / off (stand-by). Audio source button Telephone button Press to answer / end call. Press for 3 seconds to reject incoming call. Press for 5 seconds to start pairing miniTek with phone (PIN Code: 0000). Press twice during phone call to transfer call from miniTek / hearing instruments back to phone; press button again to transfer call from phone back to miniTek / hearing instruments Press twice to re-connect miniTek to phone (phone may automatically re-connect). Press to switch from microphone / telecoil program to external audio sources. Press to change external audio source: 1. FM Transmitter (DAI) 2. Line-in (2.5 mm stereo socket) 3. First Tek Transmitter 4. Second Tek Transmitter 5. Telecoil miniTek on / off button with Power LED Press for 3 seconds to turn miniTek on / off.

Program change button Press to change current hearing instrument microphone / telecoil program. Press to switch from external audio source to hearing instrument microphone / telecoil program(s).

Volume up button Press to increase volume. Volume down button Press to decrease volume.

CONNEXX Quick-Fit Guide


Step 1
Connect miniTek to programming computer via USB cable. miniTek may be powered on or off during programming. Wireless Settings and Accessories When the e2e wireless icon within CONNEXX turns amber, this indicates that miniTek settings need to be programmed.
u Open

Wireless Settings and Accessories dialog.

u Select checkbox for miniTek (active). u Click OK to program miniTek settings.

Second Tek Transmitter


u Add

second transmitter after FirstFit is completed. Second Tek Transmitter box. u Enter Bluetooth address of second transmitter. u Click on OK to program.
u Check

Note: C  annot program via CONNEXXLink and stream via miniTek from an external source at the same time

Step 2
miniTek Listening Programs
u Select

desired listening program via drop down menu:

Tek / miniTek (Audio / TV) Bluetooth Phone (only available in program 2) miniTek Telecoil The program presets have been optimized especially for use with miniTek in the respective listening situation or input mode.

miniTek Input Modes
u Select

desired Input mode:

Tek / miniTek (Tek Transmitter 1 + 2, 3rd party Bluetooth device) Bluetooth Phone (only available in program 2) miniTek FM (DAI device required) miniTek Telecoil Each input mode listed above requires its own program.

Input Configuration
u Select

desired Input configuration:

Input mode and microphone (default & recommended setting) Input mode only Microphones can be turned on / off during audio streaming. Press Mute button on miniTek.
u Adjust Tek Level and Microphone Level.

Tek Level and Microphone Level can be adjusted independently. It is suggested to leave Accessible manually deactivated for all miniTek Input modes. Press Audio source button on miniTek to switch from hearing instrument microphone / telecoil program to all available external audio sources.
