The course is intended to enhance the Mega Trends and Innovative


techniques in the educational delivery system by identifying and understanding
the scenarios and changes in education formal and informal and the innovative
education delivery approaches that may be employed.

Gina Agus discuss the delivery systems for institutional services


specifically the Bureau of Elementary Education, Multigrade Program in
Philippine Education (MPPE) including its projects: Multi grade Demo Schools
Projects (MDSP), Pupil Learning Enhancement Program, Little Red School
Projects (LRSP) by the Coca-Cola Company, and Integrated Curriculum for
Multigrade Classes (IC-MG).
Other programs such as Pre-School Contracting Program, SPED
Personnel Enhancement Program, Resource Materials Development for Children
with Special Needs (CSNS), Early Intervention Program for Children with
Disabilities, Standards for Quality Elementary Education (SQEE), Third
Elementary Education Program (TEEP), Save the Children’s Parent Volunteer
Program, BEC Curriculum adding the fifth subject Makabayan introduce by the
late Sec. Raul Roco and EO.266 issued by Pres. Aroyo the Strong Republic
School (SRS).

Colleges and Universities-Commission on Accreditation (PACUOA); Accreditation
Agency for Chartered Colleges and Universities (AACUP) and Association of
Local Colleges and Universities –Commission on Accreditation for government
higher institution.

A continued report by Virginia Sobrenisana on the delivery system for


educational systems covers Higher Educational Development Plan, Medium
Term Higher Development Plan (MTHEDP) 1996-2005; Long Term Higher
Educational Development Plan (LTHEDP) 2001-2010;Vision and Goals of Higher
Education; Internationalization of Higher Education; International Cooperation of
Higher Education; Higher Education Research; National Higher Education
Research Agenda and its policy; Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and
Accreditation Program (ETEEAP).

Delivery System for Academic Supports that includes library as mandated


in RA 7743 An Establishing of Congressional, City and Municipal Libraries, and
Barangay Reading Center; Public Libraries Information Network; Library for the
Blind, Research grants in line with National Higher Education Research Agenda;
Types of Academic Museum; Financial Management System of DEPED: Budget

A more advance topic was delivered by Tony Antonio the Management


Information System with the use of computer for Lower, Middle and Top
Managers in making tactical and strategic decisions; Internet and its Feature. He

deeply the security measures involve in a computerized record system.

Rene Salvo his counterpart on E-Learning its reasons, problems and


quality; A full text copy of RA 8792 An Act Providing for the Recognition and Use
of Electronic Commercial and non Commercial Transactions and Documents,
Penalties for Unlawful Use Thereof and for other Purposes.

Delivery System for Auxiliary Enterprise by Laura Altea covers the


following: Operations, Types, Users, Concept, Guidelines in Maintaining a
Satisfactory Food Service Program, Book Store, Student Organization, Student
Appropriation Committee (SAC) Financial guidelines, Transport Services,
Financing of Auxiliary Enterprises and Delivery System for Public Services.
