Via User groups you define the various views and user rights in the QuadClient. In the following you name a user group with Standard and assign a user to this group. Click the User groups ( ) tree entry.

Click on the Text menu button in the properties window ( to activate the input field.

Enter Standard into the field .
You can simulate the input by pressing any key. Create a new user via the project settings User with Add . Click the User ( ) tree entry.

The user for operating the QuadClient should be called QCAdmin. QC in this learning unit means that this user merely finds use in the QuadClient. Enter QCAdmin into the field User name.

Enter QCAdmin in the User name field. This name is used for registration in QuadClient.

In this learning unit the user password for the QuadClient of the user name should be written in small letters. Enter qcadmin in the Password field.

Selection
When you select a group and confirm selection with OK, you assign a user group to the user QCAdmin. Click the Standard ( ) tree entry.

System users in QuadClient have advanced user rights. You can manage favourites, modify passwords and edit plug-ins. The user QCAdmin should be assigned these advanced rights. Click the System user ( ) radiobutton.
