We advise when unpacking to check that breakers don't present any prejudicial damage to a good working. Otherwise send reservations to the transporter by means of a registered letter. To connect or to disconnect Masterpact, the insertion of the racking handle is indispensable. The padlock and key- locks for connected or disconnected position and the racking interlock prevent any insertion of the racking handle. The table bellow should enable you to determine the causes and take corrective action. If in spite of everything, the fault persists, contact our services center who will be able to advise you or put the trouble right.
malfunctions the breaker opens (indication by fault trip indicator-button). probable causes c overload trip ("FAULT IR" indication lit) corrective actions v check the interrupted current value on the ammeter (STR 68). Reclose the breaker (on STR 68 with auxiliary power supply, wait for half an hour because of the thermal memory). v check if the indication ("ALARM" for STR 38 / 58, or "FAULT" for STR 68) flashes. v with an ammeter,you can also check if the current in the most heavily loaded phase exceeds 1.05 IR. If overload : - either analyse or modify your network. - or modify your control unit settings. c short-circuit trip ("FAULT IM" indication lit) v check the interrupted current value on the ammeter (STR 68). Locate and clear the fault. Check your control unit settings. Check breaker condition before putting back into operation. v check the interrupted current value on the ammeter (STR 68). If not, reclose the circuit breaker after supplying the MN. Check, by decreasing the voltage slowly, that the circuit breaker opens between 0.35 and 0.7 Un. Cut the MX power supply, then try to close with the XF. v supply the MN at U > 0.85 Un, then try to close with the XF. If impossible, check with the escutcheon removed, that the MN is drawing properly. If not, replace it. v remove the locking. v check whether this refusal to close is not normal.

v remove disabling.
v discharge the circuit breaker (open, close then open again the circuit breaker). v if the circuit breaker is equipped with MN or MNR or MNRI : - cut the supply of MCH. - come back in test position. - supply the MN (or if it is impossible, remove the front cover and the release MN). - close the circuit breaker. - draw out the circuit breaker.
it's impossible to rack in the circuit breaker
c the chassis doesn't correspond with the circuit breaker.
v fit fouling- plate on your chassis and breakers to avoid new mistakes. v remove the plastic ties.
c the plastic ties which hold clusters during transport are not removed. c the clusters positions are not correct. c there is a safety shutters locking.
v put them in order again. v remove this locking.

v sustituya el rel que falle. v verifique la carga de su red. Si es necesario, modifique las regulacines de los interruptores automticos de su red. v busque el origen de est orden del rel.
c aparicin intempestiva de la tensin en bornes del rel de emisin de corriente (MX). visualizacin por display de "ERR" sealizacin de autovigilancia a distancia encendida STR 68. Disparo si unidad de control sin continuidad de servicio. c elevacin anormal de la temperatura.

v quite la tapa delantera, apriete sobre el ncleo movil de la MX, interruptor automtico cerrado. Si el aparato abre, sustituya la MX. Si MX est autocortada, verifique el estado del microcontacto de autocorte. v corte completamente la alimentacin de la MN, el interruptor automtico debe abrirse. Si no cambie la MN o la MNR. Si abre, vuelva a cerrar el interruptor automtico despus de haber alimentado la MN. Verifique, bajando lentamente la tensin, que el interruptor automtico abre entre 0,35 e 0,7 Un. Si hay problemas, cambie la MN. v quite el enclavamiento. v contacte con nuestro Servicio de Asistencia Tcnica. v elimine el defecto. verifique el estado del interruptor automtico antes de volver a ponerlo en servicio. v rearme el indicador pulsador de disparo sobre defecto.
c por la MN o MNR : bajada de la tensin en bornes de la bobina mnima tensin (instantnea o retardada).
imposibilidad de abrir el interruptor localmente.

v enchufe completamente el interruptor automtico. v corte la alimentacin del electroimn de cierre XF, despus alimente de nuevo la XF. v Verifique la alimentacin del motorreductor (U > 0,85 Un). Verifique el circuito de alimentacin. Intente el rearme manual. Sustituya el motorreductor si es necesario.
c funcin antibombeo.
c interruptor automtico no rearmado.

Si es imposible, verifique, retirando la tapa delantera, que la MN funcina bien. Si no reemplcela. v suprima este enclavamiento.
c memoria trmica de la STR 58/68. c bobina de mnima corriente MX alimentada.
c bobina de mnima tensin (instantnea o retardada) no alimentada o deficiente.
c interruptor automtico enclavado en posicin "abierto". c interruptor automtico enclavado.
v verifique si la repulsin de cierre no es normal. v anule est orden. v suprima el enclavamiento.
c orden mantenida sobre "puetazo" de la MNRI. imposibilidad de cerrar el interruptor automtico localmente (pero s es posible a distancia). imposibilidad de cerrar el interruptor a distancia (pero s es posible localmente). c botn pulsador de apertura y/o de cierre enclavados. c electroimn de cierre XF insuficientemente alimentado o deficiente.
v verifique su alimentacin (U > 0,85 Un). Levante la tapa delantera, presione sobre el ncleo mvil de la XF, aparato abierto, armado : si el aparato se cierra cambie la XF. v aplique una tensin > 0,85 Un. Verifique el circuito electrico del motorreductor. intente rearmar manualmente. Si tiene algn problema : mecanismo deficiente. contacte con nuestro Servicio de Asistencia Tcnica. Si va OK : motorreductor deficiente. Reemplacelo. v suprima esto enclavamientos.
