Montalban Project Caracas, Venezuela General Project Details The Montalban Housing Project is part of the Venezuelan governments

s The Great Venezuelan Housing Mission refugee housing program. The scope of the project includes approximately four towers - 10 storey walk up building with 60 apartments each. The Construction of the concrete super-structure for the 1st tower was built in record time. The concrete construction started in early June and completed in September 2012. Aluma Systems Scope of Work Aluma Systems was contracted to supply EasySet our all-aluminum modular formwork system for monolithic cast-in-place concrete construction. Aluma Systems supplied 1 set of equipment which included enough formwork to pour walls and slabs together to cover half of the building floor plan, including central stairway as well as complex and unique exterior facade and architectural features around the window. The formwork would then be cycled horizontally to the second half of the floor plan. Upon completion of each floor the system would be cycled vertically. The process was repeated until the structure was complete. Total m area for the EasySet form was approximately 1,164.30 m. Performance Utilizing a crew of approximately 15-20 workers, the contractor was able to achieve one pour cycle approximately every 3 days.
