Area near Driveway and electric meter, Use Sky Pencil Hollies or Reed Grass or Miscanthus Grass.

Sky Pencil Hollies pictured here, grows about 6 a year upwards. ! ! !

Miscanthus Grass- rounder shape, and turns tan in the Winter. Matures at about 4 ft tall.

Reed Grass, grows more upwards than round. Matures around 4 ft tall as well.

Heritage River Birch- option for Accent Tree near driveway/garage or for Accent Tree #2 near HVAC (Warren across the street has one on the corner of his sidewalk and driveway) Here is a close up of the cool, peeling bark.

This one is less mature, you can see the multi-trunk and green foliage. The tree is deciduous, but the bark offers year-round interest.

Crape Myrtle is suggest for Accent Tree near driveway, and could also be used in Accent Tree #2 spot near the HVAC unit. There are purple, white, pink (hot pink), and red colors available. They bloom in late Spring/ Summer.

Emerald Green Thujas- to frame windows in front of your home. We will use taller ones than in the picture for a more established look that will not look dwarfed in front of your home.

Schip Laurels for between the Emerald Green Thujas, under the windows. Will use approx. 3 under each elongated window and 4 under the larger window to the right of your home (Right, when facing the front door... not stage right.) They are 36 tall.

Yews- to go near the front porch area

Shrub choices for in front of the yews- Barberries, Pauls Gold Mops, Rose varieties, or Encore Azaleas.

Gold Mops

Encore Azaleas- bloom twice as much as regular azaleas. Come in purple, all pink, white, or redorange. Pictures is Autumn Belle color, a two tone pink with dark pink centers and light pink petals.

Rose VarietiesThis is Rainbow Knock Out. There are so many colors, you name what color you want if you are interested in a blooming rose in this space. Yellow, red, pink, or white are most common.

Barberries- The ones we install will be smaller than what is pictured. The one pictured is specically called Rose Glow Barberry. They are evergreen, more purple really, and have tiny thorns. In shaded areas, they are more purple.

Decorative Grass- for surrounding Accent Trees, and could also be used in front of the Laurels to the Right, as a second layer.

First picture is Ice Sledge, a better version of liriope AKA Monkey Grass.

Mondo Grass here.

Gulf Stream Nandina- could be used in place of the decorative grasses, and also suggested for in front of the laurels to the Right. The ones we install will be about 4-6 tall $5.50/each, and we can put 12 tall ones instead, which are $15/ each.

Pink Snow Showers Weeping Cherry Tree here. Blooms in early Spring and then loses leaves in the Winter. This tree grows slowly and stays relatively short so it is a great t for this space.

Could also use Japanese Maples if you are interested. These also lose their leaves and stay short. There are several varieties with price options, I could expand on this if you are interested in the Japanese Maple. Some different varieties and prices are noted in the estimate.

Hinoki Cypress would also work well in this space. It is very slow growing and has a unique look. The bark is a dark cinnamon color that has a peeling look, and the trees foliage is curvy like a bonsai tree of sorts. Its very cool.

Accent Tree #2 near HVAC- Crape Myrtle, Birch, Lil Gem Magnolia, or Holly. (Crape Myrtle and Birch pictured previously)

Nellie R. Stevens Holly here.

Lil Gem Magnolia here. Has more petite leaves than the classic Southern Magnolia, but still has the classic white blooms of a magnolia.

Shrub option near HVAC- Sky Pencil Holly (pictured earlier), Miscanthus or Reed Grass (pictured earlier), or Burning Bush. This is a burning bush, it has a pop of red foliage in the Fall. In the Spring and Summer, it has green foliage, and in the Winter it loses 75% of the foliage depending on how cold the Winter is. These are very cost effective for how large they come.
