Next Step Retreat - Fri-Sat, April 24-25 Next Step Retreat is
a discernment retreat for college students. It is a 24-hr retreat
that will explore how to discern God’s call and presence in
your decision- making. This is the place to bring the ques-
tions: Is this the right major? The right relationship? Reli-
gious life? The cost is $15.00 and for more info, forms are at
the UCC’s front desk.

we remember Joseph Paul Montiel. May he, and all our
beloved departed, rest in the promise of new life with the
Risen Lord.

Congrats & Welcome New Catholics!
Sixteen members of our RCIA process were fully initiated
into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil celebration last
week.
Celebrating their Baptism, Confirmation and First Eucharist
were Jonny "Landrecius" Ahn, Jessica "Genesius" Kaizer,
Julia Kuo, Lillian O'Connor, Ducela "Dymphna" Phan,
"Paul" Scott Vanderpool, and Annahita Varahrami.
Celebrating their reception into the Catholic Church through
the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist were Natalie
Carnine, Kris Carter, Victor Chatman, Erin Eastwood,
Danielle Handsaker, Bryan Hanus, Bobby Jenkins, John
Kim, and Rachel Vallejo.
We are very happy for all of them and continue to pray for
them in their new relationship with Christ!

St. Austin’s is now allowing us to use their new garage at
San Antonio and MLK for 8:00 p.m. Mass only! For all
other Masses, the only lot for the University Catholic Center
is the lot to our west between our building and Dobie Mall.
University Graduate Students & Professionals- UGAP
invites all grad students and recently gradated young
adults to join us on Tuesdays at the UCC. For more
info contact Nate at UGAP@utcatholic.org. We
gather in the Atrium at 7 pm and move to the Mother
Teresa room at 7:30 pm.
Gay and Lesbian Support Group
With the encouragement and support of Bishop Aymond, the
UCC has formed a support group for Catholic students who
identify themselves as gay or lesbian. The purpose of this group
is to provide a safe and confidential place for these individuals to
meet for discussion, prayer and fellowship. For more
