IP Address is recommended to be set at Dynamic d. Click Next h. On the configure PPP Dial-up Settings page, leave PPP connection and authentication as default values. Click Next. i. On Configure WLAN Settings: a. Name (SSID): User to set-up the router name. This is the name of the router that should appear when its broadcasting. b. SSID Broadcast - set to Enabled. This turns Wi-Fi broadcasts on. \ c. Click Next j. On Configure WLAN Security: a. Encryption Mode: Set encryption type to WEP b. Network key will serve as the password to filter access to authorized users. Type in 13-digit alphanumeric characters to set password with WEP as encryption type. c. Click Next k. The next page will display the router configuration. Click Finish.

To change the router Master Password (different from network key), follow the steps below:

To filter users by MAC Addresses, take note of the following steps: a. Go to Advance Settings and Click WLAN Settings b. On WLAN MAC Filter page: a. Set Restriction Mode to Deny or Allow b. Enter MAC Addresses to Block or Allow c. To disable MAC Address Filter, select Disable at Restriction Mode d. Click Apply

To select the APN of Huawei e5832 Pocket WIFI, follow the steps below: 1. Go to a browser and enter http://192.168.1.1 (Default password is admin) 2. Go to Advanced Settings > Dial-up Settings then Connection Settings 3. Click on drop-down to select Profile of Sim card being used. Note: For Sun Digihome 999 or SunTel Go 799, SunTel profile cant be found on drop -down list of profiles. Please manually edit existing profile name and APN. Go to Advanced Settings then Profile Settings, Edit Profile name and APN (suntel) then click on Save. Reminder: The default network set up for E5832 is WCDMA Preferred thus 2G Connection or EDGE will be possibly encountered. To avoid this, please follow the procedure below: 1. Establish Connection to Huawei E5832 2. Go to URL 192.168.1.1 3. User Name: Admin / Password:Admin 4. Go to Advanced Settings 5. Form Advanced Settings choose Network Settings. 6. Then change the Network type to (WCDMA Only), click Apply. Note: Make sure that you are not currently connected with the network before you configure it because it will cause an error.
