1) When did you decide you wanted to become a DJ?

About a year and a half ago I went on a cruise for holiday, and the DJ on ship let me use his turntables, he was such a nice guy, his name was DJ Paolo. He encouraged me to be a DJ so I bought a cheap turn table and off I went on this journey! 2) Did you have any inspiration or influences? b!iously my inspirations are the top DJs and producers of the world, such as Hardwell, "ic#y $omero, Afrojac#, %te!e Ao#i and in particular Dimitri &egas ' (i#e )i#e. *hey did such an ama+ing set at *omorrowland ,-./ 01iggest dance festi!al in the world2 it was unreal and I aspire to be where they are now! 3) Where has been your favourite place to perform? I ha!en3t performed at many places yet, howe!er my fa!ourite was a house party in 1irchwood, the guests were ama+ing to play for! "e4t year I ha!e been offered to play in %howbar in 5arrington *own 6entre as the owner is a family friend, I can3t 5ait! 4) Do you own any specialist equipment to help you in your wor ! for e"ample synths or turn tables? #r any use of technolo$y that readers can also e"periment with for a career such as yours? 7es, of course! I consider myself as a producer 0someone who ma#es dance music2 as well as a DJ. I am getting new software soon called 8ruityloops .., I ha!e )i4craft 9 at the moment which I created my first : songs on. As for DJing I ha!e the controller called Pioneer ; %erato which is the best in its category. 8or beginners I highly recommend a controller for <=- off Ama+on called DJ6ontrolInstinct by Hercules, for me the price allowed me to really test out DJing, it>s not a cheap hobbie! %) &s it hard to compromise wor load and performin$ as a DJ? I find it easy, I split my day up in /s, = hours wor#, = hours sleep, and = hours ma#ing music, it>s just about time management. ') #n a scale of 1(1) how important is music to you? I would say ?.?@.- because it>s my ambition to go into the industry and without it not being important you won3t get anywhere, you need desire to go far! *) Would you rather play in small venues or lar$er venues? Why? "o doubt, it has to be large !enuesA the dream is to play my music to the biggest crowd at the biggest festi!al in the world, the more people I can entertain the better! +) &f you weren,t a DJ! what would you be and why? I honestly ha!e no idea, I want to go to B"I to study (aw, and so I guess that haha! -) Where do you see yourself in % years? I don3t #now really, the business is really unpredictable, but at ,. I would lo!e to be touring the world, or maybe a resident DJ at a nightclub or something, but the bigger the better! 1)) What number one artist would you li e to wor with if you could? )artin Carri4 by far, he seems li#e such a down to earth guy e!en now he3s touring the world, he3s only .D and on top form. Plus he ma#es the same music as me! 1ut if I was to do a gig with someone it would probably be someone li#e %te!e Ao#i, it loo#s a great laugh throwing ca#es at people! 11) What advice would you $ive to others about startin$ a career in the music industry? Patience is a !irtue, seriously, you need to #eep trying and trying and trying and especially ne!er gi!e up, you always start at the bottom in whate!er you do, just ma#e it an upwards slope by practicing and #eep ma#ing songs. 12) .i$hli$ht of your wor so far? Probably the song I3m going to release, it>s my best song so far and I can3t wait to get it out!
