Guekjian Esq. WHEN: Tuesday January 28, 2014; 8:30 am, (before court trial begins) WHERE: Montgomery County Court House, 2 E. Airy St Norristown, PA 19401(Courtroom E) WHAT: Hamlet Garcia and his wife were Felony arrested and prosecuted for stealing their childs kindergarten public education. The court trial will be held at 9:30 am in the Montgomery County Courthouse. Attorney Corona , the Garcia family and national supporters will hold an 8:30am press conference before the court begins trial to discuss the most up to date information regarding the Garcias Family case. This case has brought national awareness in regards to school choice, parent rights, equity & equality in education. The "crime" Mr. and Mrs. Hamlet Garcia were charged with was letting their five year-old daughter, already several months into the school year, remain there and finish her academic year after they moved to a different area, which was outside of the school's zip-code. They remained in the district to ensure educational stability in the child s life. If convicted, the Garcias could face up to seven years in prison for the "theft of educational services." These two loving parents lives have been turned upside down and ruined, simply for not wanting to interrupt their daughter's safe and quality education ####
