Joseph P. Chaddock is a different style of missionary who, in addition to hosting outreaches of love and compassion, has contributed programs that address many of our overwhelming social concerns today such as hunger, poverty and disease. In addition to being a distinguished author, Joseph Chaddock is the founder of GLOBAL AIDS DAY, ONE PARTNER and SAMARITAN HOPE. In 1991 Joseph received a B.A. from Westmont College in the field of Sociology. While doing extensive research in Africa for the prevention of AIDS he received an honorary Ph.D. doctorate from Regent College. Born-Again in 1985 Joseph remained celibate until marriage. And in 2008, for the very first time, he was married at age 54. He now lives in the Philippines with his wife Renah, and they have seven children. As a missionary Joseph has ministered the Gospel of Jesus Christ to 21 nations. And along the way Joseph has talked with gender-confused individuals who, once they learned from Scripture about Gods Gender Specific Purpose for Creation, have discontinued having same gender sexual relationships. Introduction
The Abduction of Morality
One of the most pervasive issues of our time is the topic of sexuality. Today sexual orientation is not only an issue it has became The Issue. Some GAY people however are reevaluating their preference for sexual orientation and have changed simply because they now realize that the root cause of their circumstance never was psycho-logical nor was it necessarily even bio-logical. But rather, they know now for them that their being GAY simply is not God-Logical. This book is neither anti-gay or is it pro-gay, but rather seeks a twofold audience whose mission first, is to help inform youth who are unsure (questioning) about their sexual orientation. Secondly, it is for people (gays) who genuinely yearn for God-centered intimacy, but confusion within their sexual identity ultimately has left them questioning. Finally, this book can help us to recognize loathing-dislike toward any persons lifestyle so that we can love one another, like Jesus commands us? According to Planned Parenthood, One thing is clear no one can choose or change their sexual orientation or anyone else's. (1) But changing ones sexual orientation indeed does occur when the ramification (conviction) of it being not God-Logical is genuine, whereby THIS do homosexuals change.

Questioning whether or not to be gay by reason of it being not God-Logical is the basis throughout this book. Empirical study confirms that transformations of this kind from homosexuality are usually not the result of conversion counseling or reparative therapy, or are they even the result from preaching a fire and brimstone message. But rather come simply by someone having an honest heart-to-heart talk with God. For it is from it being not God-Logical where many God-seeking homosexuals begin to genuinely question if what they are doing pleases God, and feel sorrow. For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There's no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death (2 Cor 7:10). One man confessed. I never considered asking God if what I was doing pleased him. I always thought that my own personal feelings were my business. But one day, I sincerely asked God how he feels about my sexual orientation. Then I remembered a prayer I said when I was a child: Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Then I realized my choice was wrong! Scripture says: It is God's will that you keep away from sexual sin as a mark of your devotion to Him (1 Thes 4:3). Therefore, whoever rejects this order is not rejecting human authority but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit (1 Thes 4:8). It is by our yielding to this Governing Spirit where we knowingly will experience what is pleasing to God and can understand what He truly intends for us. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jer 29:11). God did not give us a spirit of timidity but one of power, love, and self-discipline (2 Tim 1:7). In seeking our own way We have, all of us, gone astray (Is 53:6). All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23). There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death (Pr 14:12). A precipice is a steep cliff with a vertical or overhanging face whereby climax results in sudden and total destruction. It is at THIS God-questioning precipice of it being not God-Logical where homosexuals can change for our nature will always be subject to survival. But God is being patient with you. He doesn't want anyone to be lost. He wants everyone to change their ways and stop sinning (2 Ptr 3:9).

The Apostle Paul comfortingly reminds us, There isn't any temptation that you have experienced which is unusual for humans. God, who faithfully keeps his promises, will not allow you to be tempted beyond your power to resist. But when you are tempted, he will also give you the ability to endure the temptation as your way of escape. (1 Cor. 10:13). When the Holy Spirit convicts us of Sin and we knowingly turn away from wrongdoing, it is pleasing unto God. For truly when we draw near to God, He will draw near to us (Jms 4:8). BY DOING THIS WE GENUINELY CAN CATCH GODS ATTENTION? I have written this book not to try and convince anyone to change their sexual orientation. But rather, I have written this book for people who already are convinced (questioning) that for them being GAY is not God-Logical and that it never was Gods purposed plan for their lives. Questions about being GAY by reasoning that it is not God-Logical are Higher Power intuition that reconciles our own intellect with the thoughts, desires and purpose of a loving God. "Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool. Is 1:18 This type reasoning is not restricted only to sexual sin, but to all Biblical sin! While most people will agree that sexual orientation is about who you are attracted to and want to have intimate relationships with. The Bible expressly warns the pleasures of Sin are only for a season (Heb 11:25). My concern for writing on the topic of a gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender LGBT world agenda is not because being gay inherently makes someone a bad person. Because it does not! But that the social ramification (collateral action) of such an agenda opens the way for a broad path of autonomy which clearly contradicts Biblical perspectives meant for all our good. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life; and only a few find it. Enter through the narrow gate (Mat 7:13-14). It is because God is not willing for any to perish, but calls everyone to repentance, that we learn and do change. Ernest Hemmingway wrote: So far, about morals, I know only that moral is what makes you feel GOOD after doing it AND immoral is what makes you feel BAD after doing it.

Have we witnessed The Abduction of Morality? Commandeering our own social, psychological, biological and, even, spiritual evolution? Perhaps! According to 2 Timothy it clearly warns: perilous times shall come in the last days. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly people laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth

Today no influence on society has any greater capability to creep into houses and captivate our mind our body and soul quite like the Internet, social networking, music, movies or television. But like with any useful tool they can either be a positive or a negative influence in our daily lives. Either constructive or destructive! They certainly are WMDs Wisdom of Multiplied Dimensions. Please use them wisely? The power of suggestion is a persuasive social force that can take our heart in many directions sometimes where we did not want or even intend it to go. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the Law of God, neither indeed can it be. So then they who are in the flesh cannot please God (Rom 8:6). There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. But the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh. God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh; so that the righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For they who are according to the flesh mind the things of flesh, but they who are according to the Spirit mind the things of the Spirit (Rom 8:1-5). It is for THIS reason alone We open eyes that are blind, free captives and release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness (Isaiah 42:7). Emphasis mine

Professional norms and empirical scientific evidence do not support the idea that homosexuality is a form of mental illness or is inherently linked to psychopathology. It is not included in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (the most comprehensive arbiter of mental health, used by psychiatrists, psychologists) (2). Knowing this we conclude then that the primary reason why many GAY people today change their sexual orientation is not because of Psycho-logical or Bio-logical reasons. But because they are genuinely convinced that for them being GAY does not please their Heavenly Father and is simply not God-Logical. The Old Testament Prophet Isaiah foretold of a time when standards and behavioral attitudes of society would be reversed. Calling wrong right and right wrong? Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Isa 5:20 Whether you are straight or gay, a Christian, an agnostic or another religion altogether one thing is crystal clear that our social society and the world in which we live has dramatically and permanently changed. A thriving underground gay culture has emerged that without exception affects everybody and forces people everywhere to face a sea of change. The GAY movement that once was considered as a counterculture in society has blossomed fully into a global network of urban gay solidarity with strong religious and political affiliation. Many believe that regardless of the Churchs teachings, same-sex marriage is evolving in such a way that it's ultimately going to be legal everywhere? 2013 became the landmark year for the rights of homosexuals around the world which escalated at a rate faster than previous years combined. By society normalizing principles like same-sex marriage overwhelmingly indicates the acceptance and presence of a World GAY-Culture. New World perceptions from movements like INTERNATIONAL COMING OUT DAY are fast challenging Biblical values, which now have become the acceptable and preferred norm of a diverse and changing society, rather than being the exception to the rule.

THE TIMES THEY ARE a-CHANGIN Recently the U.S. House of Representatives has approved a federal hate crimes bill that would provide special protections to homosexuals but leave Christian ministers open to prosecution should their teachings be linked to any subsequent offense, by anyone, against a gay. Their objective is to lay the legal foundation and framework to investigate, prosecute and persecute pastors, youth pastors, Bible teachers, and anyone else whose Bible speech and thought is based upon and reflects the truths found in the Bible. This represents a thinly veiled effort to ultimately silence under penalty of law morally, medically and biblically based opposition to the homosexual lifestyle. Moreover Even if a homosexual merely claims he was subjectively placed in apprehension of bodily injury by a Christians words then, again, the Christian can be thrown in prison for a felony hate crime, he said. Times indeed have changes, where Gay rights are now protected more importantly than religious rights. Therefore our action and most especially the words that we use today must be chosen from Godly concern for all people. This book can help us remove hatred from our heart so that we can love all sinners just like Jesus commands? Therefore I offer and present GOD AND YOU? as a contemporary and

comprehensive explanation which by Biblical definition says that homosexuality is not God-Logical. One may disagree with the authors position and yet still recognize the value: -- the real and practical importance to Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Pr 22:6).

The age old debate of whether sexual orientation is the product of Nature vs. Nurture will be measured throughout this book. But from it being a contributing factor, rather than it being the ultimate root cause, since both play complex roles. I agree with the opening statement in this books introduction made by Planned Parenthood which says: No one can change their sexual orientation or anyone else's. That much is true. But my intention for writing this book is not to try and do that. But rather holds to the position that it is the sovereign role of the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in Jesus name who will teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever Christ has said unto you (Jn 14:26). Emphasis mine The Holy Spirit will come to convict the world of sin, to show the world what has God's approval, and to convince the world that God judges it. He will convict the world of sin, because people don't believe in me. He will show the world what has God's approval. Jn 16:8-10 The Holy Spirit today still brings all things to our remembrance and he confirms with certainty the clear teaching of Jesus on the topic of marriage: Matthew 19:4-5. In this passage, Jesus himself cites the Genesis creation account, in particular Genesis 1:27 and 2:24, saying "Haven't you read that the Creator made them male and female in the beginning and said, 'That's why a man will leave his father and mother and will remain united with his wife, and the two will be one'? This book is meant to be gay-friendly, and is written not meaning to offend anyone. Should that happen for any reason then please accept my sincere apology? GOD AND YOU? is still being written and I honestly seek the constructive advice from both gays and Christians, in order that we can live and do what Jesus said: A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one to another. Jn 13:34-35 I present GOD AND YOU? as being a simple man who by the miracle of Gods power has become transformed.

Some people will say that the Bible today cannot be trusted. I too once strongly and unwaveringly believed that myself. But I now carefully and genuinely trust that the qualitative meaning and integrity of Scripture through the ages has been preserved and that its message is still relevant Today, Moreover that the Bible is Gods reliable message given to us in order to teach us about ourselves and about God. Reading the Bible without having the Holy Spirit to teach us its meaning is like a man who uses a sundial without the sun. IT WONT WORK! Divine symbiosis brings Biblical illumination which requires our putting it to action! J.C. Ryle said: Happy is the man who possesses a Bible! Happier still is he who reads it! Happiest of all is he who not only reads it--but obeys it, and makes it the rule of his faith and practice. I believe (and also have discovered) that if any sincere God-seeking gay who genuinely has questions about their own sexual orientation, if they were to earnestly inquire of God from their heart, that GOD will honestly and sincerely answer you. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (Jn 3:16). Most Gay people would genuinely never want to intentionally offend God? The Holy Spirit says: Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts (Heb 4:7). For he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice, Ps 95:7 As a sociologist, a devoted husband and father, as well as being a Christian leader in the Church, I want to say that I am for homosexual rights. I

Chapter One GOD AND YOU?

It is in the spirit of concern and loyalty to the facts as God has caused them to be stated in His Word that this book is written. It is not intended to offend anyone. I engage the topic GOD AND YOU? from the premise that being GAY is fundamentally a choice of our free will. Free will by Biblical definition is our God-given power to choose between the good and evil of this world and the ability to discern between the two. Sin causes us to no longer able to see good and evil from God's perspective and alters our ability to choose. But conviction by the Holy Spirit opens the way for us to see our sin from God's perspective and change. So, What Does Our Choice for Sexual Orientation Really Say About GOD AND YOU? If we took each letter G - A - Y and used them as an acronym to describe gay, the letters would certainly spell God And You. Nothing we do as human beings affects the intimate love each one of is invited to share with our Creator more directly than our choice for sexual orientation. No action (behavior) speaks more clearly about our receiving or rejecting Gods LOVE PLAN for our lives (even innocently) than what we choose as our sexual orientation. Moreover no other choice concerning Creation tells God how we relate to Him. Or more importantlyreveals how GOD relates to us?

Toddlers are naturally curious people. The quest for more information often leads these little explorers into uncharted territory. Any influence that would disrupt or lead or a childs personal-discovery toward any sexual orientation apart from what God intentionally designated is intrusively confusing and may actually be detrimental. Children today are bombarded by sexual themes, language and actual sexual scenes through news programs, television shows, commercials, soap operas, popular music, the Internet, movies and magazines. Its no wonder then For as a child thinketh in his heart, so is he (Pr 23:7). Emphasis mine Psychologists say normal sexual development has many stages which impacts and shapes our adult sexual adjustment. How effectively we master each stage may invariably determine our sexual orientation in life. Varying degrees of pretend role-playing, even within gender roles for children, is considered a normal part of development that usually is temporary, and eventually is outgrown. The good news is that these gender behaviors are usually fleeting and few. BUT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A CHILD (IN THEIR HEART) IS NO LONGER ABLE TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN FANTASY AND REALITY? While most developmental processes are considered completely normal, "GENDER DYSPHORIA" is not. Gender dysphoria, which is sharply on the rise, is a condition where a young boy decides he wants to be a girl and vice versa. Impressionable children during this curious learning process may not understand well enough or completely enough to be able to distinguish for themselves from all the gender confusing issues today to be properly guided by safeguards that protect innocence. Long before a childs full sexual maturity is established, it is first imagined. Albert Einstein said: "Imagination is more important than knowledge."But since science does not support the idea that homosexuality is a form of mental illness or is inherently linked to psychopathology. We therefore must look to another cause. In sum, there is a growing body of evidence supporting the many connections between the sexual imagination of children and the causative sexual orientation of adults. To believe or to otherwise influence a persons orientation within sexuality to become anything other than what God Himself designates for us is rejection of both self and God.

Self-rejection is the greatest enemy of our spiritual life because it contradicts the sacred voice that calls us Beloved. Being the Beloved expresses the core truth of our existence. Henri J.M. Nouwen, Confusion within ones own gender opens the door for all kinds of aberrant sexual fantasy, which ultimately may lead to same-sex attraction. But knowing that we belong to God and, that by His sovereign plan, He created us as being either male or female changes our perspective on everything. (Song of Solomon 7:10; 1 Peter 2:9; 2

One of the shows I like to watch is AMERICAS GOT TALENT. One day I was shocked beyond words, not by the participants as much as I was by one of the judges. A performance by a female impersonator made Judge, David Hasselhoff jokingly question his own sexuality. Even Sharon Osbourne (another Judge on the show) could not believe her eyes, and said: David Hasselhoffs sexuality switched to boys

That little by little has become responsible for validating and approving new social standards. Peer Influence though seemingly innocent has serious sexual orientation power. That when predicated upon society is capable of re-formulating the moral ethos and ethics of traditional values, regardless of culture or religion? At one time social issues were seen as clearly being either Black or White. But today they are 50 shades of gray. Jesus said, Let your Yes be YES and your No be NO! Posted on one of the social networks, an actress makes light of her role in a Twitter post. "Never had so many people said they are jealous of me! All I can say is 'I kissed a girl and I liked it.'"

A well known 70s rock group, The Kinks, popularized trans-gender lifestyle in their world famous song LOLA This one verse comes to mind and stands out Well, I`m not dumb, but I can`t understand Why she walked like a woman and talked like a man, Oh my Lola, la-la la-la Lola Most people would agree that God is displeased with us when we deliberately sin. That much is true. But is God displeased even when we don't realize we have sinned? Yes - because all sin is wrong in His eyes even if we don't acknowledge it as sin. If our conscience (heart) condemns us, we know that God is greater than our conscience and that he knows everything (1 Jn 1:9). When someone is genuinely convicted of sin, it implies that the individual is thinking and has thought upon his own guilt; that he turns the subject over and over in his mind and compares it with the demands of God's righteous law. Herein marks the important distinction between a state of real conviction for sin, and a state in which there exists only the tacit condemnation of conscience. Many homosexuals today do genuinely sense conviction and have sorrow. For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There's no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death (2 Cor 7:10). Again my main objective in writing God And You? is not to try and convince that homosexuality is wrong or to change ones their sexual orientation. Or even to debate on the semantics of whether or not homosexuality is a sin. That topic is much too diverse. If anyone is fully persuaded that being GAY is O.K., and chooses to live that way, what can I really say? But I have written God And You? for people who are convinced (questioning) that being GAY is not God-Logical and that it never really was Gods intended plan for their lives. Generally this book serves as a guide for anyone who wants to change, but does not know how to change. The Bible says do not Sin. But it does not mean that we will not Sin? For if we confess our sin he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1Jn 1:9). Augustine of Hippo said: Right is right even if no one is doing it; wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it.

Over the past few years we have seen a dramatic increase in the attractiveness of homosexuality, especially to impressionable youth. Popularizing homosexual lifestyle and sexual-identification preferences on talk shows, sitcoms, the Internet and movies has caused otherwise curious but not yet committed sexually vulnerable youth to believe homosexuality is both natural and normal. Whereby before some people who were not exclusively homosexual, only engaged in some homosexual behavior for a period of time, but then stopped. But since by societies standards which now deem that it is O.K. TO BE GAY that influential statements like: I WAS BORN THIS WAY caused impressionable people who were merely going through a homosexual phase" to now commit to a life-long homosexual relationship. But genuine conviction and conversion by Holy Spirit will result in a changed life that says homosexuality is not God-Logical.

Experts say a variety of factors are at play which account for a sharp rise in homosexual attractiveness today, citing social reasons rather than strictly biological. In direct opposition to timeless Biblical principles, gay activists acted swiftly to prohibit under penalty of law such practices as "conversion or reparative therapies. Criticisms are that these type therapies have no medical indication and represent a severe threat to the health and human rights of the affected persons. In September of 2013, New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie signed into law barring licensed therapists from trying to turn gay teenagers straight, making New Jersey the second state to ban so-called conversion therapy, along with California. Christie believes people are born gay and that homosexuality is not a sin. Some legislators have gone so far as to describe the therapy as an insidious form of child abuse. saying: One thing is clear no one can choose or change their sexual orientation or anyone else's. (1) But changing ones sexual orientation indeed does occur when the ramification (conviction) of it being not God-Logical is genuine, whereby THIS do homosexuals change. These types of transformations usually occur not because of conversion or reparative therapies or are they even the result of someone preaching a fire and brimstone message. But come simply by someone having an honest heart-to-heart talk with God.

Whereby today many homosexuals genuinely question if what they are doing is pleasing to God and feel sorrow. For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There's no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death (2 Cor 7:10). World opinion now validates the notion that a non-traditional modern sexual era not only is emerging, but rather that it already has emerged. Fast changing social norms, combined with a newly emerged sexual society have distorted age-old Biblical principles of what being created in Gods Image originally meant. Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn your commands. Psalm 119:73 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mothers womb (Psalm 139:13). Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart. (Jeremiah 1:5). So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them (Genesis 1:27). Did not He who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same one form us both within our mothers? (Job 31:15). Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand (Jeremiah 18:6).

Chapter Two

Created in Gods Image?

When Adam was created he was made in the express image of God; but when fallen he begat a son in his own image, sinful and defiled, frail, wretched, and mortal, like himself. Not only a man like himself, consisting of body, soul and spirit, but a sinner like himself. Having disobeyed God, Adam sinned and lost that image, at least it was greatly defaced, and he came short of that glory of God. The farthest reaching ramification of the fall of man resulted in the reverse of that Divine likeness in which Adam was originally made. Having lost it, he could not convey it to his seed. It is in the IMAGE OF THAT Corruptible seed where the state of fallen man is now born. And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth (Gen 5:3). For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Cor 15:22 Many homosexuals argue that they have not chosen their condition, but rather that they were born that way, making homosexual behavior completely natural for them.

But what did Jesus say? Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Jn 3:5-7 Looking at the biological process called metamorphosis we see how a caterpillar changes both its form and nature to emerge as one beautiful new butterfly. By nature of the caterpillar it eats only things like plants and leaves. However once the caterpillar becomes transformed its nature also changes and its old life-cycle activities thereby cease changing into a completely different life-form with a completely different nature. When Jesus says: Ye must be Born Again from flesh to spirit, for a human being that is called Transformation. We literally become a brand-new creature. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Cor.5:17). This topic is discussed in detail later on in this chapter. Every scholar and theologian would agree that in John 3:5-7 Jesus clearly is saying Man has two natures: either flesh or spirit. The question is not whether homosexual behavior is natural. But whether or not we are still born of flesh or have we become born anew of the Spirit. That is the question. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled (Mat 5:6). Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Mat 5:3). So when a gay says that homosexuality is completely natural, they are absolutely correct. Homosexuality is the natural action of a person who still is born of flesh. Here in lies the paradox concerning all Mans conduct whether it be fornicator, idolater, adulterer, effeminate, homosexual, thieves, the covetous, drunkard, reviler, nor swindlers - will not inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Cor 6:9 Before man sinned he knew no death and was completely alive to GOD. When God made Adam, he configured Man as a triune being, consisting of body (flesh), soul and spirit. TRIUNE-MANS FLESH was switched OFF. His SOUL was switched ON. And his SPIRIT was also switched ON. Being alive to God then means FLESH is OFF (fully submitted to God) SOUL is ON (fully submitted to God) and SPIRIT is ON (fully submitted to God). Genesis 2:7 states that Man was created as a "living soul." BUT THEN after Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, he begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth (Gen 5:3). From that time on every subsequent generation which has been born (third and fourth generation and so on) are no longer in the express IMAGE OF GOD, but are in the IMAGE OF MAN. Commonly known as the Generational Curse.

Notice in all three models of MAN that the SOUL remains turned ON.

Before Adam fell into sin, Man walked in perfect union with God. They were created in the very Image of GOD and were commanded to exercise dominion over all of creation, the land, the air and the sea.

After Adam sinned, man no longer had intimate close fellowship with God. Moreover man is Once Removed from being made in the Image of GOD, and for various reasons can no longer fulfill his priorities and responsibilities of dominion.

Once man repents of sin and receives the Holy Spirit, man is TRANSFORMED by being Born Again into the Perfect Image of Christ and is restored to fulfill the GOD-INTENDED position of New Covenant dominion.

If Gen 5:3 says anything about the human condition, it really says that because of Sin man is made more in the Unlikeness of God, rather than in the Likeness of God, simply because GOD IS SPIRIT. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remains in him and he cannot sin, because he is born of God (1Jn 3:9).
The eternal part of Man is SOUL whose Final Destination is determined by whether we yield to the LEADING of the SPIRIT or the ACTIONS of the FLESH. The ultimate FATE of our SOUL is decided by that Final Condition. By yielding either to the CONTROL of the SPIRIT or the CONTROL of the FLESH will determine whether or not our SOUL will spend eternity in Heaven or in Hell. Both forces cannot be in control simultaneously. For Spirit gives birth to spirit, but Flesh gives birth to flesh. One MUST fully yield its FREE WILL in submission to the LORD.

I say, then, Walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh. And these are contrary to one another; lest whatever you may will, these things you do (Gal 5:17-18). For it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Mat 4:4 Why the Word of GOD is so important The Holy Spirit reveals in our hearts the Word of God that separates our spirit and SOUL from its corruptible natural FLESH. In Salvation Jesus leads us upward to Heaven. But the carnal desire of corruptible natural FLESH wants to drag our SOUL downward to Hell. It is only when our spirit switch is turned ON (having accepted Christ) and is regenerated and is submitted to GOD that we can ever switch OFF the carnal desires of the natural FLESH. The Word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It cuts all the way through, to where soul and spirit meet, to where joints and marrow come together. It judges the desires and thoughts of the heart. Heb 4:12 To help people better understand the body, soul, spirit relationship of Triune-man, I sometimes use this example: I AM A SPIRIT, WHICH HAS A SOUL, THAT LIVES IN A BODY.

Once we reach a God-determined age of accountability and we have knowingly participated in Sin, then our FLESH SWITCH overrides our SPIRIT SWITCH. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh! Gal 5:17 Once that happens we become just like Adam, spiritually dead. It is a commonly held belief that when young children and babies die prematurely, who obviously have not volitionally acted upon sin which have not yet reached the God-determined age of accountability, are thereby exempt. But once any person at the appropriate and determined age of accountability willfully participates in sin; then the full consequence of Sin would apply.

Again Hebrews 4:12 is where we find the three components of TRIUNE-MAN comprising, body, soul and spirit. The eternal condition of
SAVED

TRIUNE-MAN

is where the Word of God judges body, Soul and spirit according to the desires and thoughts of the heart. To those who have faithfully received Christ, their Soul and spirit are joined permanently and united with its incorruptible glorified Body. As ONE NEW MAN we become joint heirs with Christ to reign in Heaven and to rule with God forever in dominion, as the SONS OF GOD. Conversely, the eternal condition of
DAMNED

TRIUNE-MAN is where the Word of

God judges body, Soul and spirit according to the desires and thoughts of the heart. But since the wages of sin is death, the condition of Soul and Flesh are judged and go straight to Hell, where they are separated from God - eternally damned forever. The
DAMNED

TRIUNE-MAN (whatever condition at death) remains

corruptible with its condemned flesh, soul and its dead spirit. Therefore let us put forward the things of God, and behind those things which are not. We cannot walk simultaneously in both directions at the same time? Our yielded SPIRIT is either following Christ upward to Heaven, or our FLESH (carnal desire) is pulling us down into Hell. Get ye therefore behind me, Satan! No one knows the day or hour. The angels in heaven don't know, and the Son himself doesn't know. Only the Father knows. When the Son of Man appears, things will be just as they were when Noah lived. People were eating, drinking, and getting married right up to the day that the flood came and Noah went into the big boat. They didn't know anything was happening until the flood came and swept them all away. That is how it will be when the Son of Man appears.

Jesus said: Two men will be in the field, but only ONE will be taken. The other will be left. Two women will be together grinding grain, but only ONE will be taken. The other will be left.

Does this mean then that half,

only 50 percent of people will get to go to Heaven?

No! When Jesus warns TWO will be IN THE FIELD or GRINDING GRAIN but only ONE will be taken, refers then to the nature of man, either flesh or spirit and the final condition of each persons soul determined at the time of death or at the appearing of Christ. Jesus is not meaning Two Separate People necessarily. But actually refers to the flesh/spirit
NATURE of Triune-Man, who either by carnal nature is still in the IMAGE

OF MAN. Or who by repentance and regeneration have been transformed into the IMAGE of the SON OF GOD? When Jesus comes He will gather unto Himself ONLY those who are transformed into the Image of God. For those are the SONS OF GOD who will go on to reign with God in dominion for eternity. But as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. (Jn. 1:12). "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Rom 10:13 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Cor.5:17). That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again (Jn.3:6,7). TRANSFORMATION IS LIKE THE BUTTERFLY STORY Here's a dangerous, crazy thought which comes from eminent biologist, Bernd Heinrich. As a Scientist, he's thinking about moths and butterflies, and how they radically change shape as they grow, from little wormy, caterpillar critters into spectacular airborne beauties. Bernd Heinrich says: "In effect, the animal is a chimera, an amalgam of two, where the first one lives and dies ... and then the other emerges. The adult forms of these insects (butterflies) are actually new organisms." What he's saying is, while a butterfly appears to be one animal, with a wormy start and a flying finish, is actually two animals two in one! We start with a baby caterpillar that lives a full life and then dies, dissolves. There's a pause. Then a new animal, the butterfly, springs to life from the same cells, called metamorphosis.

This pause phase, as Heinrich puts it is, "a deathlike intermission." Lying dormant inside their chrysalis, the caterpillar shrinks, sheds their skin and organs dissolve. Their insides turn to mush. Most of their cells die. But lurking in the goo are a few cells (the so-called adult or "imaginal" cells) that at the precise moment jump into action, reorganizing all the free-floating proteins and other nutrients to turn what was once caterpillar into a beautifully transformed butterfly! What has happened says Heinrich, is that the caterpillar section of the DNA has been TURNED OFF, and the butterfly instructions have been TURNED ON. Jesus told Nicodemus that he could not enter Heaven unless he was born again and Nicodemus was very puzzled by those worlds. He said How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mothers womb, and be born? (Jn.3:4). Many people today still have trouble understanding how that can be possible. But I believe the metamorphosis analogy of the transformation from a caterpillar turning into a butterfly will help us understand what Jesus means when he said that we must be born anew in order to become a New Creation. Primarily there are only two species of creature that undergo a complete metamorphosis: Caterpillars to butterfly/moths and Tadpoles to frogs. Any other transformations, like maggots to flies, are not a complete metamorphosis only partial. Natural metamorphosis means to change from one life form into a totally different creature. Supernatural metamorphosis means to become transformed by regeneration into a totally different creature. If anyone is in Christ they are a NEW CREATION the old has passed away, behold all things become brand new (2 Cor 5:17).

See Genesis 5:3 The butterflys life begins as a starving, crawling, ugly caterpillar-worm that hatched from an egg. Caterpillars hatch having ravenous appetites and eat almost constantly. In Scripture we see caterpillars are part of Gods curse upon sinful man (2 Chr.6:28-Ps.78:46) The cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm worm, my great army which I sent among you (Joel.2:25). The destructive and evil caterpillar is a fitting symbol of sinful unregenerate man doing many destructive and evil things, especially with our mouths. We commit more sin with our mouths than with any other member of our bodies. But the tongue can no man tame: it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison (Jam.3:8). Eve used her mouth to have a conversation with the serpent-Satan and then used her mouth to eat of the forbidden fruit and committed the first sin and she was punished with death ..and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned (Rom.5:12). We shall all go into the earth at death like a worm and the worms shall eat us up as it was written of Christ on the cross dying for our sins. But I am a worm and no man (Ps.22:6). Then the caterpillar enters the second stage the dark cocoon or death stage. The cocoon resembles a tomb or coffin and signifies death and burial, for all men are sinners and will die. He spins the cocoon around himself and for several weeks appears quite lifeless and dead.

But then the third stage comes when the former caterpillar is totally transformed into a beautiful, flying butterfly in the heavens, no longer crawling on the ground as a worm. The cocoon breaks open and the gorgeous butterfly emerges, pumps up its wings, and flies in the heavens. It is a new creature, transformed and changed by the process of metamorphosis. The ugly caterpillar-worm has been miraculously changed into a beautiful butterfly by Gods wisdom of metamorphosis. He no longer is Gods caterpillar curse but has been born again into Gods blessing. He no longer is earthly, sensual, devilish, but is heavenly and godly and goes about doing good and not evil. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together in Christ, (by grace are ye saved;) And hath raised us together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Eph.2:4-6). The butterfly is not only a symbol of a sinner born again and becoming a new creature by Gods Holy Spirit, but is also the symbol of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. It not only pictures the new creature that is miraculously created by the Holy Spirit inwardly, but also pictures the new, glorified body that we receive in afterlife. We are transformed inwardly, but we shall also be transformed outwardly. We are born again spiritually but we shall have a born again body as well. Then we shall obtain complete transformation. Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body (Phil.3:21). We do not any of us live in an ideal world. For I guess if we did then everybody would agree on what are the acceptable standards for sexual orientation. By Biblical definition human nature is fallen, sinful and mortal. The heart of man is deceitful above all [things], and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jer 17:9 For us to suggest then that before repentance and regeneration in Christ that all human behavior is anything other than natural is silly. In a fallen world in which man is born our nature by virtue is sinful. It perpetually is at enmity against the will of God. But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 Jn 1:9 WHAT IS SIN? It is the transgression or violation of the Law of GOD. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ (1 Cor 2:16). Therefore be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Rom 12:2). But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Cor 2:14-16 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Phil 2:5

Chapter Three
Why Some People BECOME GAY
My principle aim in addressing gender confusion within male/female roles in todays society is not to write a book about homosexuals, per se. It is not! But rather, that by the grace of God, my aim is to render a book written personally To and For homosexuals. We have read throughout this book that the MAIN REASON why most gay people concede they are GAY is because they were born this way. If that were true to life then I guess it would apply to all gays RIGHT! Why then do some people when they are forty or fifty years old, who have never once in their life ever had any GAY feelings SUDDENLY DECIDE THEY ARE GAY? In that scenario Science would assert that these people are really latenthomosexuals, and that their TRUE SEXUAL NATURE did not emerge until much later in life. Perhaps??? Or is there possibly an overlooked missing key factor.

One day a close friend of mine stood up among a group of prominent Christian business men and women and said: Friends, I need your prayer recently I have been having strange dreams about same gender attraction. His honest confession seemed especially startling to me because my friend, a well respected family man, has a loving wife and several children. He continued to add that he never participated in any same gender sexual activities. But there he was, a straight, heterosexual male, suddenly being inundated by a homosexual oddity. HEREIN LIES THE RUB NOT SO MUCH AS TO WHY IT
HAPPENED BUT as HOW?

Frankly, what happened to my friend was that he became the innocent victim of a spiritual attack, which without warning quickly overpowered him. Many gays have never considered that there is a sweeping seductive nature attached to homosexuality. Like the charming dance of an uninvited stranger, this affable seductive lure captivates vulnerable minds and fills them with false sexual esteem (acceptance) which masquerade contrary to the nature of a loving God. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light (2 Cor 11:14). I have met this Darkness personally. And will say that its seduction against mankind is both strategic and wicked. The strategy of this Darkness lay in wait for my friend which completely blindsided him. But before he could recognize the symptoms his mind suddenly became a Captive. Like the apostle Paul that was caught-up to Heaven, I too, have also had a vision of Heaven. When I was a child, God took me up to Heaven where I was permitted to gain specific insight into the End Time Darkness that is set against mankind (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;). This Darkness is being poured-out full-strength into the lives of otherwise innocent people today, without them necessarily even being aware, through various forms of movies, Internet and social media. Since empirical science has concluded that the reason why people are Gay is not because of any type of Psycho-logical reason, nor is it even necessarily Bio-logical. I propose that the reason why many people BECOME GAY is primarily because they have become a spiritual captive or spiritual prisoner. For some this may be hard to comprehend, but it is very much real. The Bible says that God made all things both seen and unseen. For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him (Col 1:16). The Bible makes it clear that the soul and spirit are the primary immaterial (invisible) aspects of humanity, while the body is the physical (visible) container that holds them on this earth. Our whole being is comprised of body, soul and spirit. So it is easy to conclude from this that a soul and spirit, even though we cannot actually see them do exist. Within the realm of this seen and unseen world exist both clean and unclean spirits. Now the Holy Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons. 1 Tim 4:1 Because the TOPIC of spiritual deliverance is vastly huge, it cannot be explained exhaustive in one chapter but only introductory, for the Scriptures hold far more testimonies concerning it than we can consider in this writing. However I will try and sum up several of its fundamentals. Basically there are two specific categories of bondage mentioned in both New and Old Testaments: loosing prisoners and setting captives free. Both require Gods intervention if anyone is to become totally free. While being a Prisoner is mostly understood as a form of demon possession; Captives are not necessarily the case. I have over 20 years of experience helping people through varying realms of deliverance and spiritual bondage. But to the person who is being afflicted by a vexing spirit, proper diagnosis is just as important as is the cure. We have found in every case, whether it be spiritual captive or prisoner, that diagnosis and cure simply is this: "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.. We are witnesses of all the things He did Acts 10:38-39 Spirits enter us by means of invitation, both voluntary and involuntary. If the thought of a person becoming a spiritual Captive or Prisoner makes sense as to how people can suddenly become flooded with homosexual thoughts, there is hope. Spirits are primarily responsible for many other types of Sin in a persons live not only homosexual sin. The devil is a being very cunning, and of vastly superior intelligence. Once we are able to help people to see for themselves the seductive (sexual) influence that the devil has in a persons life, we are then able to encourage them to take authority over him in Jesus Name and drive him out. Evil spirits and demons are not able to express themselves or their own character (nature) unless they can get the attention of a body. Their objective is to manifest (express) their unclean nature inside of a living host or human body. Their greatest desire is to enter and control a human body which can happen to a person both voluntarily and involuntarily. If an unclean enters a person through voluntary means they have a legitimate stronghold, and are stubborn, bold and demonstrate a root of possessive authority. Because their point of entry is from a conscious or voluntary willingness they are generally harder to drive out. Voluntary entry gives these spirits deed of power (illegal ownership) since the person has done so of their own accord. Spirits generally look for unfortified hosts which to inhabit. Submit therefore to God. Resist (reject) the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Jms 4:7-8

When the enemy (the devil) shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him (Is 59:19). Fear Not, but be strong and courageous for"'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams (Acts 2:17). After we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit waits to live in us by our welcomed invitation. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me Acts 1:8 Jesus said this about the Holy Spirit: So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him" (Lk 11:13). Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own (1 Cor 6:19). Jesus said: "The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. Mat 6:22 So what we spend our time looking at (watching) has a significant impact upon every area of our lives. Creating in us healthy or unhealthy souls!

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. SINCE THE CREATION OF ADAM and EVE and FOR ALL TIME SINCE, A THREE-FOLD TEMPTATION HAS BECOME COMMON TO ALL MANKIND. Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?" And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die. Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened; and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked. Gen 3:1-7 But the LORD God called out to the man, "Where are you?" Gen 3:9. It is this same three-fold temptation that has been allowed to test (perfect) Gods creation ever since the very beginning. Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am being tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Jms 1:13-14 And you shall remember all the way which Jehovah your God led you these forty years in the wilderness in order to humble you, to prove you, to know what is in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. The Bible cites the reason why God led his own children, the Israelites, out in to the wilderness was so that He might actually know what was in their heart. This three-fold common to mankind temptation is our checks and balance system that God uses so that he may know each one of his children (you and me) personally, intimately and confidently. God allows this type testing system in each of our lives in order to learn our strengths and weaknesses and to be able to help us best. For when we are weak He is made strong. 2 Cor 12:10

If the enemy can Captivate and dominate our thoughts (essentially our mind) he then can make us his Prisoner. His strategy is to cause us to DROP OUR GUARD. Great military Generals of conquest from Napoleon to MacArthur all have devised strategy to WIN WAR. As it is in the natural, so it shall be in the Spirit. And so it is with the devil, the enemy of our soul. For example, Eve became a Captive first and then she became a Prisoner. But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning; your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ (2 Cor 11:3). But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Jms 1:14-16 TWO TREES IN THE GARDEN In Genesis 2, we are told that there were two named trees in the Garden of Eden: the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and the Tree of Life. Then the Lord God took the man and put him into the Garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it. The Lord God commanded the man, saying, From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die. Genesis 2:8-9. Later Then the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever. Therefore the Lord God sent him out from the Garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground from which he was taken. So He drove the man out; and at the east of the garden of Eden He stationed the cherubim and the flaming sword which turned every direction to guard the way to the tree of life. Genesis 3:22-24

The Fruit of sin (mans carnal natural will) which resulted at the Fall of Man by the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, along with Satan's deceptive and corrupting presence and influence, has meant the undoing of carnal man from creation. Satan's power is predicated on human belief through lies. Even though Satan never laid one single finger upon Eve, by his cunning and deceiving way he was able to completely violate and defile her in her body, soul and spirit. Thats the Power of deceptive influence in the world today. Essentially what the Devil did was devised a Three-fold temptation. The devil thereby broke down her defenses, stormed her walls and captured her capital. The demonstration of homosexuality in society is merely a product (fruit) of that corruptible seed. Jesus said you shall know a tree by its fruit. Jesus said: Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit (Mat 12:33). From the Word of the Lord that lives within a brand new heart: "A tree that is holy is a good one." Bring forth fruits proper for repentance (Matt 3:8). By your producing much fruit, my Father is honored and glorified, and you show that you are truly my disciples [true followers] (John 15:8). And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Mat 3:10-11 When Jesus said, either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit. Means we have a choice: for us to take the axe (the word of God) to once and for all finally sever the nature of carnal man so that we can fully embrace Christ who is our tree of life and confess our dependence upon being a partaker of Him.

Or, we can choose to remain linked (rooted) to the Tree of Good and Evil, continuing to act independently of Him. The later result is where we continue to reap the fruit of the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Remember it is the Knowledge of the Truth which MAKES US FREE. This knowledge is the product of our newly transformed mind in Christ. The axe is already at the root separating us from our humanity, releasing us into our divinity. Recently released in 2014 is a CD by Garth Brooks titled: I Blame it All on My Roots. Our resulted destiny is portrayed either by us severing (freeing) ourselves from the curse of the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil or not and reflects where we stand in our eternal relationship to God. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees? This is otherwise known as the generational curse. Though our lives are far removed from the paradise that once was the Garden of Eden that every single one of us still finds ourselves in a scenario not too unlike what Adam and Eve were placed in. Likewise, while we dont have a literal tree of knowledge of good and evil and a tree of life to eat from anymore, I believe the things that those two trees represent are still available to us today. And like Adam and Eve, I believe we still have the daily ability to choose from which tree we will eat. It is my conviction that we possess Godgiven power (through the Holy Spirit) for us to use and separate ourselves from the root of that corruptible seed. Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul (1 Ptr 2:11). Indeed, we are in the midst of a war a Spiritual warfare. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds (2 Cor 10:4). Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. Rom 6:12 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the Law of God, neither indeed can it be. So then they who are in the flesh cannot please God (Rom 8:6).

Some of you are battling the wrong enemy. Who is our enemy? We are told in Ephesians 6:12 that our enemy is not flesh and blood. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Don't put out the Spirit's fire. Don't despise what God has revealed. Instead, test everything. Hold on to what is good. Keep away from every kind of evil. May the God who gives peace make you holy in every way. May he keep your whole being-spirit, soul, and body-blameless when our Lord Jesus Christ comes. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do this. 1 Th 5:20-24 The Bible warns The thief (the devil) comes only to steal and kill and destroy. And continues with: The god of this world (the devil) has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Cor 4:4). It is for THIS reason We open eyes that are blind, free captives and release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness (Isaiah 42:7). Emphasis mine So if the Son sets you free, you are FREE INDEED! Jn 8:36 So why isn't it working for so many homosexual believers in Christ who are being tormented and harassed by vexing sexual spirits? Many try to resist the devil and draw near to God with everything they've got, and still the harassment and torment doesn't stop. Jesus told his disciples: When He came into the house, His disciples began questioning Him privately, "Why could we not drive it out?" And He said to them, "This kind cannot come out by anything but prayer." Mk 9:29 When we move into our human strength or force, then we leave the place of dependence on GOD and violate the intimacy we have between the God and His creation.

REPENTANCE IS KEY FOR CHANGE and REQUIRES FULL COOPERATION ON OUR PART. GOD DOES THE REST. For He that began a good work in us is faithful and able to complete it. Phil 1:6 Fight all temptation with the "Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God:" 1) Submit your body to God: "...present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service." Romans 12:1 2) Fill your mind with God's thoughts and refuse to compromise: "...do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove... [the] perfect will of God." Rom. 12:2 3) See yourself as God created you, male or female: No one should "think of
himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly...." Rom. 12:3

This new action is opposite to the Three-fold curse and becomes our Threefold cure. It literally is strong medicine for whatever ails us. For if we know that we are sick then we will take our medicine, right? Jesus is also called the Divine Physician: The doctor is IN? No appointment necessary.

Chances are that if you are reading this Book there is a place inside your heart that agrees homosexuality is Not God-Logical.
If that is so, what can you do? HERE ARE FOUR SPIRITUAL LAWS THAT MAY BE HELPFUL.

Law One: God loves you and offers a wonderful plan for your life Law Two: Because of Sin humanity is separated from God. Law Three: Jesus Christ is God's only provision for Sin. Law Four: We must repent and receive Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord.
For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." Lk 19:10. Jesus Christ reminds us I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. Jn 10:10. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Eph 6:12. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves. Col 1:13

Christ enters our lives when we ask him to. It's that simple. "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

How to Receive Christ?

God knows your heart so go ahead ask him into your life in your own words. If you get stuck for words, try a prayer like this one: Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my heart and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Please forgive me of my sins and giving me brand new life. I invite you to take control of my life and to make me the kind of person You want me to be.

This Chapter is in no way finished. Because the TOPIC of spiritual deliverance is vastly huge, it cannot be explained exhaustive in one chapter, but only introductory, for the Scriptures hold far more testimonies concerning it than we can consider in this writing. I will pause, however, to add one final thought. Concerning all of Gods people the Bible says: IF GOD BE FOR US, WHO CAN BE AGAINST US (Rom 8:31). Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Ps 37:4 However, if GOD Himself personally has something against us, whether it be sin of any kind, then we have offended God our creator and must turn from sin and change. By seeking God for our own desires independent of His perfect will for our lives can never please God. For In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps. Pr 16:9. "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death." Proverbs 14:22

Chapter Four
Adam is a Male/Female Creation
This chapter soon will include the unnatural reverse order of male and female roles in sexual orientation which sometimes cross over into the other gender. Thereby producing undesirable sexual orientation. Perverted consequences that resulted after the Fall of Mankind.

And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. Gen 2:22 Many Bible scholars have translated the passages to indicate that God used Adams rib to create woman instead of making her from the dirt of the land, as He did for Adam. The question also arises as to why God created woman out of Adams rib as He did, when He apparently had formed male and female animals individually.

Adam was perfect, body and soul, and his spirit was in complete fellowship with God. Within Adam was both male and female. "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." Notice that this verse doesn't say "by two people" or "by Adam and Eve," but rather by "one man." Even though Eve was the first to eat of the forbidden fruit, the New Testament tells us that it was "Adam" that brought sin and death to the human race. The word translated "rib" in verses 21 and 22 above, is the Hebrew word "Tsela." This same word is found some 19 other times in Scripture and is translated also as "side" or even better (especially when used referring to the ark), it is translated "chamber." Using the "side chamber" translation, let's go back and read this verse: "So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept; and He took a 'side chamber' and closed up the flesh thereof. And the 'side chamber,' which the Lord God has taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man." God took the female reproduction segment (we call that the "gonad" or the germ plasma) which was in a "side chamber" in Adam, who had, Scriptures indicate, both male and female qualities within him, and from that He created the woman. If you find that hard to accept, consider that in the animal kingdom, there are still several species (especially in insects and micro organisms) that are both male and female. I believe that, as a man's sperm today produces either a male or female (and some of the early Rabbis who were students of the Old Testament also had this concept), I believe that God removed the female reproductive section from Adam and from it created the woman.

This is so logical, because at the very heart of all God's creation stands the concept of reproduction. So by taking that portion from Adam and surrounding it with the body of a woman, God establishes the female of our species - but she's called only woman, she's not yet called Eve. .. Look now at Genesis 2:23: God has now brought this new creature to Adam to be his "help meet." This term means a "complement" - that which completes. Adam had not been complete until God brought to him his help meet. It's interesting that the New Testament uses that same term (complement) to describe the relationship between Christ and the Church. The Church is Jesus' complement, and this is why even the Lord Himself is looking forward to the day when He will have the "Body of Christ" with Him, and we become then "that which completes" Christ Himself. There is again that correlation between Adam and Eve, husband and wife, Christ and the Church, as we saw in the last Chapter in the book of Ephesians. Verse 23: "And Adam said, 'This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man.'" Now, if we bring this concept down into the human realm, Eve had to have already been inside of Adam from the very beginning so that Adam could be the head of the human race - the "Federal Head" of our entire race, male and female - so that there would be need of only one Redeemer. This is why in Genesis 1:27, even though Eve is not yet on the scene physically, and won't be for several more verses, it says that "God created him, male and female, created He them." Last time we went to Genesis 5:2 to see in the summary there that "male and female, He created them and blessed them, and called their name ADAM." He doesn't refer to woman; He doesn't refer to Eve; He merely says that "He called their name Adam." They both, man and woman were inside Adam.

The reason we're studying all this is to better understand the Plan of Redemption - that it is just as appropriate for the woman as it is for the man, and the woman's fall was not precipitated by Eve's eating of the fruit, but rather it was precipitated at the same time man's fall was -when Adam chose to eat the fruit also, and the whole human race fell. We have to see that here Eve is part of that fall because she came out of Adam, just the same as you and I came from our parents. Turn to Luke 3:38 and look at the Genealogy of Jesus through Mary. If you read the entire genealogy, you'll see it starts in verse 23 with Jesus, Himself, and goes all the way down through verse 37 where it says that Canaan was "the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God." Notice it does not say that Seth was the son of Adam and Eve, but that he was the son of Adam. But where's Eve? She was in Adam! Again, it makes it so clear that Eve, as a part of the human race, was already in Adam when Adam was created, so we can definitely say that Adam is the "Federal Head" of the entire human race, not just of men, but of women also.

"And Adam said, 'This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man.'" Here again, the Scripture says she was "taken out of Man." The rib doesn't amount to much. God removed more than that. The woman was taken "out of the Man" and it is important to emphasize that Eve was "in Adam" when Adam sinned, and the female as well as the male of the species came under condemnation. Verse 24: "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh." All of human history has to fall back on what took place in Genesis! This "one flesh" concept has almost been lost in today's world and it's so unfortunate that we've glossed over what God originally intended. Look at the word "cleave." The Hebrew word used here indicates that once a man and a woman have been joined in marriage, they should never be able to be separated without causing irreparable damage. Isn't that what divorce does? Cause irreparable damage? It causes terrible distress. This is exactly what God had in mind, that when two people come together in marriage and become one flesh, that to tear them apart would be doing permanent, irreparable damage. So He says, "They shall be one flesh." (3) This chapter soon will include the unnatural reverse order of male and female roles in sexual orientation which sometimes cross over into the other gender. I WAS BORN THIS WAY
Every human being is called to receive a gift of divine sonship, to become a child of God by grace. However, to receive this gift, we must reject sin, including homosexual behaviorthat is, acts intended to arouse or stimulate a sexual response regarding a person of the same sex. Even though many people today believe that they are born gay. The Old and New Testament teach that such acts are always violations of both divine and natural law. Homosexual desires, however, are not in themselves sinful. All people are subject to a wide variety of sinful desires over which they sometimes have little direct control. But that in and of itself sinful desire does not become sinful until a person acts upon them, either by acting out the desire or by encouraging the desire and deliberately engaging in fantasies about acting it out. But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren (Jas 1:14-16).

People tempted by homosexual desires, like people tempted by improper heterosexual desires, are not sinning until they act upon those desires in some manner. Let no one say when he is tempted, I am being tempted by God, James wrote, for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one (Jas 1:13). Divine Law (A Brief History and Summary) The rejection of homosexual behavior that is found in the Old Testament is well known. In Genesis 19, two angels in disguise visit the city of Sodom and are offered hospitality and shelter by Lot. During the night, the men of Sodom demand that Lot hand over his guests for homosexual intercourse. Lot refuses, and the angels blind the men of Sodom. Lot and his household escape, and the town is destroyed by fire "because the outcry against its people has become great before the Lord" (Gen. 19:13). Throughout history, Jewish and Christian scholars have recognized that one of the chief sins involved in Gods destruction of Sodom was its peoples homosexual behavior. But today, certain homosexual activists believe that the sin of Sodom was merely a lack of hospitality. Although inhospitality is a sin, it is clearly the homosexual behavior of the Sodomites that is singled out for special criticism in the account of their citys destruction. We must look to Scriptures own interpretation of the sin of Sodom. Jude, verse 7 records that Sodom and Gomorrah "acted immorally and indulged in unnatural lust." Ezekiel says that Sodom committed "abominable things" (Ezek. 16:50), which could refer to homosexual and heterosexual acts of sin. Lot even offered his two virgin daughters in place of his guests, but the men of Sodom rejected the offer, preferring homosexual sex over heterosexual sex (Gen. 19:89). Ezekiel does allude to a lack of hospitality in saying that Sodom "did not aid the poor and needy" (Ezek. 16:49). So homosexual acts and a lack of hospitality both contributed to the destruction of Sodom, with the former being the far greater sin, the "abominable thing" that set off Gods wrath.

But the Sodom incident is not the only time the Old Testament deals with homosexuality. An explicit condemnation is found in the book of Leviticus: "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. . . . If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death, their blood is upon them" (Lev. 18:22, 20:13). Reinterpreting Scripture To discount this, some homosexual activists have argued that moral imperatives from the Old Testament can be dismissed since there were certain ceremonial requirements at the timesuch as not eating pork, or circumcising male babies that are no longer binding. While the Old Testaments ceremonial requirements are no longer binding, its moral requirements are. God may issue different ceremonies for use in different times and cultures, but his moral requirements are eternal and are binding on all cultures. Confirming this fact is the New Testaments forceful rejection of homosexual behavior as well. In Romans 1, Paul attributes the homosexual desires of some to a refusal to acknowledge and worship God. He says, For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. Their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural, and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in their own persons the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a base mind and to improper conduct. . . . Though they know Gods decree that those who do such things deserve to die, they not only do them but approve those who practice them (Rom. 1:2628, 32). Elsewhere Paul again warns that homosexual behavior is one of the sins that will deprive one of Heaven: "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Cor. 6:910, NIV).

All of Scripture teaches the unacceptability of homosexual behavior. But the rejection of this behavior is not an arbitrary prohibition. It, like other moral imperatives, is rooted in natural lawthe design that God has built into human nature. Natural Law (A Brief History and Summary) People have a basic, ethical intuition that certain behaviors are wrong because they are unnatural. We perceive intuitively that the natural sex partner of a human is another human, not an animal. The same reasoning applies to the case of homosexual behavior. The natural sex partner for a man is a woman, and the natural sex partner for a woman is a man. Thus, people have the corresponding intuition concerning homosexuality that they do about bestialitythat it is wrong because it is unnatural. Natural law reasoning is the basis for almost all standard moral intuitions. For example, it is the dignity and value that each human being naturally possesses that makes the needless destruction of human life or infliction of physical and emotional pain immoral. This gives rise to a host of specific moral principles, such as the unacceptability of murder, kidnapping, mutilation, physical and emotional abuse, and so forth. "I Was Born This Way" Many homosexuals argue that they have not chosen their condition, but that they were born that way, making homosexual behavior natural for them. But because something was not chosen does not mean it was inborn. Some desires are acquired or strengthened by habituation and conditioning instead of by conscious choice. For example, no one chooses to be an alcoholic, but one can become habituated to alcohol.

Just as one can acquire alcoholic desires (by repeatedly becoming intoxicated) without consciously choosing them, so one may acquire homosexual desires (by engaging in homosexual fantasies or behavior) without consciously choosing them. Since sexual desire is subject to a high degree of cognitive conditioning in humans (there is no biological reason why we find certain scents, forms of dress, or forms of underwear sexually stimulating), it would be most unusual if homosexual desires were not subject to a similar degree of cognitive conditioning. Citing that the disorder called "gender dysphoria," where a boy at an impressionable young age (usually 6-8 years old) decides he is a girl and later grow up to become a woman, would not become a relevant concern. Even if there is a genetic predisposition toward homosexuality (and studies on this point are inconclusive), the behavior remains unnatural because homosexuality is still not part of the (pre-fallen man) natural design of humanity. It does not make homosexual behavior acceptable; other behaviors in society are not rendered acceptable simply because there may be a genetic predisposition toward them. For example, scientific studies suggest some people are born with a hereditary disposition to alcoholism, but no one would argue someone ought to fulfill these inborn urges by becoming an alcoholic. Alcoholism is not an acceptable "lifestyle" any more than homosexuality is because according to Covenant law both behaviors will law result in our being separated from God. The Ten Percent Argument Homosexual activists often justify homosexuality by claiming that ten percent of the population is homosexual, meaning that it is a common and thus acceptable behavior. But not all common behaviors are acceptable, and even if ten percent of the population were born homosexual, this would prove nothing. One hundred percent of the population is born with original sin and the desires flowing from it. If those desires manifest themselves in a homosexual fashion in ten percent of the population, all that does is give us information about the demographics of original sin.

But the fact is that the ten percent figure is false. It stems from the 1948 report by Alfred Kinsey, Sexual Behavior in the Human Male. The study was profoundly flawed, as later psychologists studying sexual behavior have agreed. Kinseys subjects were drawn heavily from convicted criminals; 1,400 of his 5,300 final subjects (twenty-six percent) were convicted sex offendersa group that by definition is not representative of normal sexual practices. Furthermore, the ten percent figure includes people who are not exclusively homosexual but who only engaged in some homosexual behavior for a period of time and then stoppedpeople who had gone through a fully or partially homosexual "phase" but who were not long-term homosexuals. (For a critique of Kinseys research methods, see Kinsey, Sex, and Fraud, by Dr. Judith Reisman and Edward Eichel [Lafayette, Louisiana: Lochinvar & Huntington House, 1990].) "Youre Just a Homophobe" Those opposed to homosexual behavior are often charged with "homophobia"that they hold the position they do because they are "afraid" of homosexuals. Sometimes the charge is even made that these same people are perhaps homosexuals themselves and are overcompensating to hide this fact, even from themselves, by condemning other homosexuals. Both of these arguments attempt to stop rational discussion of an issue by shifting the focus to one of the participants. In doing so, they dismiss another persons arguments based on some real or supposed attribute of the person. In this case, the supposed attribute is a fear of homosexuals. Like similar attempts to avoid rational discussion of an issue, the homophobia argument completely misses the point. Even if a person were afraid of homosexuals, that would not diminish his arguments against their behavior. The fact that a person is afraid of handguns would not nullify arguments against handguns, nor would the fact that a person might be afraid of handgun control diminish arguments against handgun control.

Furthermore, the homophobia charge rings false. The vast majority of those who oppose homosexual behavior are in no way "afraid" of homosexuals. A disagreement is not the same as a fear. One can disagree with something without fearing it, and the attempt to shut down rational discussion by crying "homophobe!" falls flat. It is an attempt to divert attention from the arguments against ones position by focusing attention on the one who made the arguments, while trying to claim the moral high ground against him. The Call and Return to Innocence The modern arguments in favor of homosexuality have thus been insufficient to overcome the evidence that homosexual behavior is against divine and natural law, as the Bible and the Church, as well as the wider circle of Jewish and Christian (not to mention Muslim) writers, have always held. The Church thus teaches: "Basing itself on sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered. They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. It is human nature to seek out the approval from others people. Under these circumstances according to winning GODS favor can they ever expect to be approved?" However, both Science and the Church would agree that "[homosexualitys] psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. . . . While the number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill Gods will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lords cross the difficulties that they may encounter from their condition. "The LORD calls practicing homosexual persons today to consider chastity. That through the virtues of self-mastery (in Christ) who teaches us (by the Spirit) that

inner freedom is attained. Whereby all who hunger and thirst for GODS righteousness (sacramental grace) and are born again -- will receive Christs liberty and freedom. Paul comfortingly reminds us, "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your strength, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Cor. 10:13). 2

These men and women who changed from being GAY did so not because of Psychological reasons or even for Bio-logical reasons. Yes, I told Bob, You are correct nothing can separate us from the LOVE of GOD. But its not that we will be separated from GODS love because of sin? ITS HIS PERSONAL INTIMACY THAT WE WILL LOSE. That is what will be separated from us for all eternity. We lose Gods intimacy and fellowship forever. Isolated solitary and alone. wretched, naked, poor and cold. Bobs stare was perplexing and he said, Ooh no, lose my personal intimacy with God, now that frightens me and makes me sad. My whole life I have strived for acceptance and approval. But to lose my intimacy with God forever, then for me if I lost Gods personal intimacy To me THAT would be HELL. GOD AND YOU?

Testimonial Two: By Matt Moore I think that a lot of people dont really understand the central concept of Christianity, especially in the gay community. Before I became a believer, I heard about people who had claimed to be cured of their homosexuality by Jesus but then a couple years later denounced that statement and returned to the gay lifestyle; either saying that Christianity is all a lie or that God doesnt care if they are gay. And since becoming a believer, I have seen this more and more and more. The promise of the gospel is not to make you straight, but to make you holy and blameless before God; not by your own righteousness, but Christs. You can only really come to Jesus when you genuinely see your need for Him, not just pertaining to your homosexual desires, but because the core of your nature is sinful and evil and you do not have the ability to escape it. Heterosexual and homosexual people alike are sinners by nature and need the grace of God found in the Cross of Jesus Christ in order to be saved. Knowing Jesus is the centrality of Christianity, and by knowing Him you enter into eternal life through Him. You cant come to Jesus simply for sexual re-orientation, it doesnt work like that. Yes, you should acknowledge your sin and continually ask Him to heal your desires, but you shouldnt bank your faith on whether or not your sexual preference changes. You should bank your faith on the finished, redeeming work of Jesus Christ on the Cross; thats the only kind of faith that perseveres. Your problem goes much deeper than that of sexual nature. Your problem is that you are a sinner, down to your very core, regardless of sexual orientation. Your only hope is to desperately take hold of the Cross of the Son of God in order to escape the penalty you surely deserve. The penalty we all surely deserve. God can heal you, and you should believe that He will. But more importantly, remember this: God owes you absolutely nothing, and even if you go to your grave here in this temporary world still fighting homosexual desires, God is still good and magnificently merciful for not giving you what you really deserve eternal anguish and torture.

Everyone who is in Christ will one day be free from sin and the temptation to sin hold on to that hope. Look ahead with persevering eyes to the reality of that day and allow the passion for the One who stood in your place to fuel you to turn away from your innate sinfulness every single day. I still fight homosexual desires, and Im aware many people think its because I lack faith and if they want to think that, they can go right ahead. Ironically, all of those people are still tempted by sin in various ways. I believe God can heal me, and Im going to believe that He will heal me but He hasnt totally done that yet. And I still love Him. Hes still good. I have more joy flowing through my heart than I have ever, ever had before. His sovereign purposes for doing certain things and not doing certain things are for His glory and my good. I trust Him completely. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.- 1 Corinthians 10:13

Ministering to a Homosexual
This chapter is in final revision and is yet unfinished. After you have read the chapters opening you will understand why writing this book requires personal God-strategy and wisdom. Thank you! TRULY IS OUR LOVE UNDER FIRE! Just as the US Supreme Court, in 2014, is on the verge of issuing decisions that could see significant gay rights advances in America, a Florida-based organization that worked to help people repress same-sex attraction is calling it quits. The group had come under fire in recent years, with gay rights advocates, psychiatrists, and psychologists all rejecting the notion particularly popular among Christian evangelicals and fundamentalists -- that homosexuals could be converted. Opposing groups claim conversion therapy actually increases patients risk of suicide and can worsen a host of psychological conditions like anxiety and depression, the American Psychological Association has found.

Concessions like these directly oppose and undermine timeless Biblical principles. Secular humanists acted swiftly to prohibit under penalty of law such practices as "conversion or reparative therapies. Criticisms are that these type therapies have no medical indication and represent a severe threat to the health and human rights of the affected persons. Worldly principles have set their sights aimed at making the homosexual agenda immune to public criticism. Even to make it illegal to say that homosexuality is Sin. According to one man, preaching that homosexuality is a sin is "bullying" and akin to "child molestation" and must be stopped, argued Mitchell Gold of Faith in America on today's "MSNBC Live" hosted by Thomas Roberts. In September of 2013, New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie signed a bill into law barring licensed therapists from trying to turn gay teenagers straight, making New Jersey the second state to ban so-called conversion therapy, along with California. Some legislators have gone so far as to describe the therapy as an insidious form of child abuse. Christie believes people are born gay and that homosexuality is not a sin. Today sexual orientation is not only an issue it has became The Issue. In our changing society we should remember no one has ever been argued out of homosexuality or into the Kingdom of God. Conversion is to Jesus Christ who, in turn, transforms us into His image. By biblical definition mankind is already created heterosexualphysiologically, anatomically, and biologically. But because of Sin, our MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD DNA was made corruptible. Herein lies the paradox? Many people now realize that being gay is not God-Logical and sincerely want freedom from same-sex attractions. For some change comes slow. They want to hear a word from anybody that goes beyond condemnation and shame. When we give advice to others people dont care how much you know, until they know how much you care. The apostle Paul said, I am made all things to all men that I might by all means save some. I Cor 9:19 But how then, should we reach them?

One man who successfully changed his orientation from gay to straight said, I personally did not experience freedom from homosexuality by reading and re-reading the account of Sodom and Gomorrah, Leviticus 18 and 20, Romans 1, or 1 Corinthians 6--classic passages which condemn homosexuality. Yes, they impressed upon me that this form of sexual activity is sin, but I was already certain of that. Pounding those passages over and over in your preaching may provide a diagnosis, but they do not necessarily provide a prognosis- a plan of action. I needed more! Outside the walls of the church, homosexuals like me, are waiting to see if the Christian church has anything more to say after we declare that homosexuality is a sin. Joseph Sizoo writes in his book, Preaching Unashamed, Jesus healed them all. He identified Himself with the paralytic who had just enough feeling to know pain. He became one with the lepers whose bodies withered with anguish. He seemed to belong to the blind who stumbled through the streets of eternal darkness. He cared what happened to the lily that faded, the reed that was bent, the coin that was lost, the prodigal son who had stepped across the threshold of indiscretion. He was the most compassionate man who ever lived. Yet it is because our nature is totally against God, that we must be born again. Jesus said, no one comes to me unless the Father draws them. God must first draw us to Him (Romans 8:7-8 John 6:44, 65). God then convicts us of our sin and grants us repentance. For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There's no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death (2 Cor 7:10). (John 16:8 Acts 11:18). Upon repentance, God then forgives us (1 John 1:9-10). Finally, God gives us the desire to learn His ways and to submit our will to Him (Philippians 2:13).

It is the work of the Holy Spirit which consoles (convicts) people that being gay is not God-Logical. Pr 25:11. The kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power (1 Cor 4:20). For a word spoken at the right time is better than gold apples in a silver setting. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. 1 Ptr 3:15 Handling the homosexual issue from a Christ point-of-view should never be with criticism, but with love. For Gods patient agape love covers a multitude of sin and casts out all fear. Only after we repent and become baptizedphysical, outward signs of our choice to follow Godcan we make the choice to serve God through obedience. Then, can we begin our lifelong process to completely change ourselves with God's help.

Recently the U.S. House of Representatives has approved a federal hate crimes bill that would provide special protections to homosexuals but leave Christian ministers open to prosecution should their teachings be linked to any subsequent offense, by anyone, against a gay. Their objective is to lay the legal foundation and framework to investigate, prosecute and persecute pastors, youth pastors, Bible teachers, and anyone else whose Bible speech and thought is based upon and reflects the truths found in the Bible. This represents a thinly veiled effort to ultimately silence under penalty of law morally, medically and biblically based opposition to the homosexual lifestyle. Moreover Even if a homosexual merely claims he was subjectively placed in apprehension of bodily injury by a Christians words then, again, the Christian can be thrown in prison for a felony hate crime, he said.
