Here at Monacos Palace and Catering we are pleased to offer two spacious banquet rooms with old world charm and elegant dcor for all of your important events. All Events must meet a required minimum based on the banquet room chosen, event type, and event date. When the minimum is met with your food and beverage selections and service charge, the room rental is included for up to a four hour event and covers all of the set-up, clean-up, tables, chairs, standard linens along with our standard china, glassware and flatware and the staff required to make your event run smoothly. MEETING ROOM ONLY RATES: (Monday- Friday 8am-5pm with a minimum of 3 hours) Venetian-$800 for the day or $175/hour Capri-$500 for the day or $125/hour Guarantees & Menus To best serve you, a final guest count is needed 14 days prior to the event. A guest count is necessary to properly schedule staff and order food and/or supplies. Final charges will be based on the guest count provided or the actual number of people in attendance, whichever is higher. Monacos Catering staff has the right to refuse entrance to the facility if the number of people exceeds the expected number of guests by more than 5%. Deposits, Payments & Cancellations A non-refundable deposit of $500 or 10% of the event estimate (whichever is greater), is required to secure the desired event date. An additional 50% of the entire event estimate is due 60 days prior to the event date and is non-refundable after this date due to cancellation. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event and is non-refundable after this date due to cancellation. Tax Exemption Tax exempt organizations must provide a completed State of Ohio tax-exempt form upon booking an event, otherwise applicable sales tax will be added to all charges on in-house events. Event Set-Up Clients with full service events are given two hours immediately prior the start of their event for set-up/decorating purposes. Additional time may be available upon request and at an additional charge. Clients are given one hour immediately following the event for tear down and clean up. Security $45/hr. per guard. 1 Guard per 100 guests required. Security Guards are required for any events ending later than midnight for a minimum of 3 hours, one half of an hour being after the event ends. Service Charges A 21% service charge will be added to the final balance of all events.
