The Allegany County Fire Police Association will meet on
Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Canaseraga Fire Hall at

4C’s SENIOR CITIZENS
On September 8th, the club met in Richburg, with 39
members and 6 guests in attendance.
Tim Palmiter, Allegany County’s Recycling Coordinator,
spoke to the group about the various recyclable materials that
are a source of revenue for the county. Plastic, glass, cans,
papers, cardboard, scrap metal, etc. There is no charge for
people to drop off their recyclables. He told of several items
that are made from these items. Also, the county accepts used
clothing and shoes at various transfer stations. Stay informed
and cooperate; the program keeps these items from ending up
in the land fill!
There will be a bus trip to Rochester on Friday, October 30th.
It includes lunch at the Crescent Beach Restaurant and a
variety show, with songs made famous by Frank Sinatra and
Liza Minnelli, also comedy skits. The 4C’s trips are not just for
club members, guests are always welcome. For information,

At the next tureen meal and meeting (Sept. 22nd), Bill
Dibble, a county legislator, will be the speaker. Cakes will be
