1 Should this quote be accepted, kindly forward the ORIGINAL bill of Lading, Copy of Invoice, copy of passport to our office address above, as well as a letter addressed to the shipping line authorizing Manica Africa to clear the vehicle on your behalf. 2 DOCUMENTS TO REACH OUR OFFICE AT LEAST 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE ARRIVAL OF THE VESSEL. If there are incorrect details on documentation received from the suppliers or from the client, Car Carriers Africa will not be held responsible for any costs that may arise from such errors. Note that this quote does also not include any additional costs arising from customs detention. 3 Should documents not be received within seven days prior of the vessel arriving at the Durban port, we will require a 50% deposit of the total quotation amount to be paid before the clearance process begins. 4 A transfer slip is not proof of transfer. The financial transaction will be deemed to be complete only when the funds have reflected Car Carriers Africa's account. Please note that it may take 3 working days for international money transfers to reflect in our account. 5 Our clients are encouraged to have all necessary bond letters and / or duties arranged and lodged with their respective agent prior to the dispatch of vehicles from Durban 6 CCA allows 48 hours for clearance at the border of final destination, failure to achieve this will result in a demurrage charge of R4500.00 per carrier per day being levied against the client All demurrage charges are to be settled or agreed to in writing in the event that the client holds a 30day acccount with Car Carriers Africa before final delivery of any vehicles occurs 7 Should the client not wish to accept any demurrage charges for any reason whatsoever, the vehicle/s will be offloaded at the border of final destination and CCA's obligations for delivery will be deemed to have been completed. 8 In the event that a vehicle has been offloaded as per conditions 6 & 7 above, CCA reserves the right to levy an onward carriage fee of R3500.00 per vehicle for delivery to final destination. 9 Vehicles are transported with comprehensive insurance cover, however the client is liable for the first loss amount of 10% of the value of the claim or a minimum of R12500.00 payable as an insurance excess per incident claim 10 Please note that CCA will not be held responsible for damages and / or missing items whilst the vehicle is undergoing clearance at EPZ / Manica warehouse in BBR.
