Tithing Law Tithing is a law that still applies to us today. Let the Bible speak !

1 Corinthians 9 :18 it is not saying that you shouldnt receive anything while teaching the truth. 2 Peters 3 :15, 16 some letters of Paul are hard to understand to the unlearned and unstable. 1 Corinthians 9 :1Paul is actually reprimanding the church of Corinth because they had a problem with him receiving money. 1 Corinthians 9 :2 Paul did set up this church. The problem was so severe that when he came to the church of Corinth he had to build tents because of their carnality. He was taken care of in other area churches but when he would come to Corinth he would have a problem with the carnal individuals who were thinking that he shouldnt be getting any money. So he wrote this letter to the Corinthian Church. 1 Corinthians 9 :3, 4, 5, 6 -- Paul is saying that we dont have to work because you are my work. So when the fruits come in we should partake. 1 Corinthians 9 :7 who pays to go to war. There is a defense budget that pays individuals to go to war. Paul planted the Church of Corinth. So should he not ear from the fruits that came from his work ? If you have take care of the flock and now its producing milk, then he, rather the leaders should partake of that too the milk, wool, etc. You cant build anything without a treasury in place and no one in any church can set up a treasury without the law of 10% which the Most High instituted before Levi. Thats the financial base thats the minimum thats is supposed to be given. An offering is what you are supposed to give from free will. However, the 10% is the law. You cannot build the business of the Most High without first instituting what he says we must do financially. 1 Corinthians 9 :8 this is said in the law. The law of tithing started long before Levi. It started with Abraham paying 10% to Melchisecdec. And Christ came after the order of Melchisecdec. So that 10% moves from under the Levites to those who are under Christ. 1 Corinthians 9 :9 do if someone is working in the vineyard and the fruits are coming in, then how can you muzzle the one who is doing the work ? 1 Corinthians 9 :10, 11, 12 people will pay the Government their taxes and not say anything. And the government hasnt sown anything spiritual into you. So why the complaint ? the church of Corinth was carnal. The other areas were set up making sure Paul was being taken care of according to the law. But in Corinth this could not be done because of their carnality. In Corinth, these Brothers were so focus on Paul that they would not do the work, yet Paul still taught them. When you read the Epistles it shows that Paul would build tents everytime he went to Corinth so they would not be looking at the money. And another thing, they would wait till he comes to say that they did not really have anything together for him. And thats when he wrote this letter. That upon the first day of the week put it in store so their would not be any gathering when he would come. He wanted the treasury to be there for him so that when he would come he would not have to work and teach the people. Thats what the first day of the week was for because on the Sabbath you were not supposed to do that. On the first day you would have the gathering of the

money the business so that when I come there would not be any gathering on Sunday for that purpose. 1 Corinthians 9 :13 Paul is actually comparing himself to what the Levis receive. In order for them to get anything from the temple 10% must be given to them from the people. Some people say that Levis is done away with, well, Paul is comparing himself to what the Levis receive. Thats giving weight to the 10% in the new testament. 1 Corinthians 9 :14 so instead of it going to Levis its now going to those who set up the churches of Christ. 1 Corinthians 9 :15, 16 Paul is saying that there will always be things that he needs yet, preaching the gospel is a must. 1 Corinthians 9 :17, 18 without charge he did not want to be an offence to the brothers looking at the money he did not want the money to be a stumbling block to them. So he taught them for free. This was only in the church of Corinth. 2 Corinthians 11 :7 8 he (Paul) got money from other churches to make up for what they were not bringing. That means he got more from the other churches so that they could benefit. The other churches were giving and he actually ask for more to ensure that the church of Corinth could stay running. Because they were not doing their part. 1 Corinthians 9 :19, 20, 21 Genesis 14 :18 we know that Melchesedec is Shem. It tells us he is Adonesedec in the Book of Jasher. In Hebrews it says first being interpreted king of righteousnes (Adonesedec) and later being inerpreted king of Salem (which is Melchesedec). So in Moses interpretation he is Melchesedec but in the Book of Jashers interpretation he is Adonesedec. Genesis 14 :19, 20 this is where the tithing system starts. Melchesedec received 10% from Abraham while Levi was in Abrahams loins. So when we came out of Egypt and Levi began to receive it that was just continuing a law that was instituted before Levi. So it has nothing to do with the law of Moses. Its in respect of the priesthood to establish the orders from the heavens the orders that the Most High establish from the beginning. Then Christ came in the order of Melchesedec. Why ? because after Shem, after Melchesedec the king and priesthood was split, where Levi became the Priest and Judah became the King. Now Christ is on the scene to make those two functions one again. And His church is under that union under the order of Melchesedec. So the 10% dont go to Levi but is transitioned to Christs church. The order of Melchesedec is the 10% that was given to him from Abraham for sowing something spiritual into you thats one part of it. The free-will offering is separate.
