NOTIFICATION FOR REGISTRATION IN SPRING SEMESTER (2013-14) SESSION It is notified for information to the all Undergraduate, Postgraudate & Ph.D. students that the Academic Registration for the Spring Semester (2013-14) will be held in their respective Teaching Departments as per the following:A. SCHEDULE OF REGISTRATION :Programmes All Undergraduate, Postgraduate & Ph.D. Students Date 01-01-2014 (Wednesday) Time 8.00 a.m. onwards

B. REQUIREMENTS FROM STUDENTS The students are required to present themselves in person for registration and will produce the 3 copies of Academic Registration Card (printout already taken during Pre-Academic Registration) to various authorities as indicated below:1. Institute Copy: To be signed by the concerned HoD or any other faculty member deputed by the HoD. 2. Hostel Copy: In his/her Hostel. 3. Student Copy: Retain himself/herself. NOTE :- The classes for all the programmes will begin from January 02, 2014 (Thursday). C. PAYMENTS

Students shall be granted only one of the following two mutually exclusive categories of status at the time of registration. The change in status will not be allowed during the semester: (i) Residing & dinning (ii) Non-residing & non-dinning Students shall be required to pay fee in advance as per the details given below together with the outstanding dues if any. PD students will be required to pay fee of their main category to which they belong (i.e. Gen/ OBC or SC/ST).
Registration of preparatory course students will be held in the Room No. LR-1 near Department of st Management studies on 1 January 2014 from 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM only.

Procedure for Payment of Fee/ Late Fee/Late Registration Fee: Fee Institute Fee & Mess Fee Mode of Payment (Including late fee) Fees can be paid by any of the following modes: a. From this semester onward all the students have to deposit fee only through online method by using internet banking / debit-cm ATM Card / Cash payment through bank. In case cash option is opted, the online deposit slip has to be generated first and then the amount is to be deposited immediately in the nearby concerned branch of SBI / PNB. The procedure for operation of online banking for our both banks is given at Appendix-I (PNB) & II (SBI) b. Only following students are allowed to deposit fee through drafts / deposit slips directly in the Students Affairs Section, Finance & Accounts office: Students availing loan from the banks. In case of any problem like mismatch of fee / category / status shown in the file available online.

Late fee & Late Registration Fee

The students, who deposit the fee through loan from bank, can also deposit the draft of the fee at the specially notified counters by IITR. The foreign students, who deposit the fee in foreign currency, can deposit the fee (including the mess fee) directly in Finance & Accounts Office. If any of the student fails to register or have not deposited fee by 08.01.2014 (with late fee) :-

1. His/her registration will be terminated. 2. His/her name will be struck-off from the Institute rolls. 3. He/she will be required to vacate the hostel. Note:- The students who repeat a particular class whether on medical ground or for any other reason(s) will be required to pay the Institute fees as applicable to the batch of students with whom they are repeating the class.
