Day 1 Early morning departure from Tbilisi to Stepantsminda. Visiting Gergeti Holy Trinity Church near the village of Gergeti. The Church is situated at 2170 meters under Mt. Kazbeg. Crossing Sabertse Pass (3150 m) and continue walking to former meteorological station (3675m). Sleeping in a tent near meteo station. Day 2 The second day is mostly for acclimatization. We climb to Betlemi Church overlooking meteo station at 3900 meters. Going back to meteo station and overnight. Day 3 At 3.00 a.m. we begin the ascent to Mt. Kazbeg (5033m). Day 4 Walking down to Stepantsminda and driving to Tbilisi. In case of bad weather we stay one more day for the second attempt to climb Mt. Kazbeg. The price includes: a guide, transportation from Tbilisi to Stepantsminda and the way back, meals and overnight cost of a tent near meteo station. The price doesnt include: personal equipment and porters. The abovementioned price is the minimal cost for climbing Mt. Kazbeg. It includes sleeping in a tent and carrying equipment, food and facilities by participants on their own. In case of sleeping within meteorological station, hiring horses and porters, etc. the cost will be increased respectively. Climb Mt. Kazbeg II

Day 1 Meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel in Tbilisi. Day 2 Departure in the morning from Tbilisi to Stepantsminda (3 hours). Overnight in a hotel in Kazbegi. Day 3 Visiting Gergeti Holy Trinity Church near the village of Gergeti. The Church is situated at 2170 meters under Mt. Kazbeg. Crossing Sabertse Pass (3150 m) and continue walking to former meteorological station (3675m). Sleeping in a meteorological station (Its possible to overnight in a tent at Sabertse). Day 4 The fourth day is mostly for acclimatization. We climb to Betlemi Church overlooking meteo station at 3900 meters. Going back to meteo station and overnight. Day 5 At 3.00 a.m. we begin the ascent to Mt. Kazbeg (5033m). Day 6 Walking down to Stepantsminda, staying one more night in a hotel in kazbegi. Day 7 Driving back to Tbilisi and transfer to the airport.

In case of bad weather we stay one more day for the second attempt to climb Mt. Kazbeg.

Juta Chaukhi Mountain Group

Village Juta is located on the foot of Chaukhi mountain range at 2200 meters. Chaukhi is a group of rocky mountains. In Chaukhi massif there are several summits, climbing difficulty of which varies from

the easiest to the most difficult. On this tour we arrange 2 ascents on different summits of Chaukhi (Grade 1A-3A UIAA, depending on the physical skills of group members). Day 1 Meeting at the Airport and arrange accommodation (transfer to the hotel in Tbilisi). Day 2 Departure from Tbilisi. Arrival in a village Juta after 4 hours drive from Tbilisi. We walk about 3 km to reach the base camp. Overnight in a tent. Day 3 Practicing how to work with a rope (Having experience of working with ropes is desirable). Day 4 Wake up in early morning. After breakfast starting ascents of the Chaukhi Mountains, 3800m, (Grade 1A-3A UIAA, depending on the physical skills of group members). Day 5 Wake up in early morning. Village Juta is located on the foot of Chaukhi mountain range at 2200 meters. Chaukhi is a group of rocky mountains. In Chaukhi massif there are several summits, climbing difficulty of which varies from the easiest to the most difficult. Asatiani summit is the highest in Chaukhi mountain group (3842 meters). Day 1 Early morning departure from Tbilisi. Arrival in a village Juta after 4 hours drive from Tbilisi. We walk about 3 km to reach the base camp. Overnight in a tent. Day 2 Practicing how to work with a rope (Having experience of working with ropes is desirable).This route doesnt require any special climbing skills, but there are some parts of the route where the rock is quite vertical requiring using an ascender. Good physical skills are required. Day 3 We start climbing in early morning. Asatiani summit represents the highest summit in Chaukhi mountain group (3842 m). The difficulty level: 2. Climbing, crawling, swimming and diving within the rocky slopes and narrow passages of Birtvisi Canyon.
