Responsibilities of a FACTORY MANAGER The Candidate should possess good knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques like TPM, TQM,

, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing etc. His focus areas will be maximizing capacity utilization, continuously lowering manufacturing cost and compressing lead time while meeting the stringent quality and delivery requirements of our International Customers. Last but not the least, those who possess leadership traits and interpersonal skills will be preferred. Ensure smooth execution of apparels production in the factory as per the buyers specifications and meet the shipment schedule. Take the ownership to achieve the goal and accomplishing the job target. Make production plans on regular basis. Execute the plans and reach the target set by the company. Critical Balancing of lines as required by the styles and capable of utilizing operators to do multiple operations (processes) to complete the sewing. Coordinate with various departments to ensure that the cutting inputs, trims & accessories are arranged well in advance. Work closely with Quality Assurance department to ensure the required standard of the sewn garments. Ensure the optimum productivity of operators in accordance with the IE requirement. Keep constant Liaison with finishing department to meet the shipment schedule and to check finishing-quality related issues. Should have clear idea about production planning, rejection control, maintaining of AQL and understanding of GSD. A very good familiarity with the compliance requirements of world-famous customers and meeting their requirements. Should have thorough knowledge on production layout, process management and maintaining of production schedule to accomplish the job target and shipment schedule. Ability to understand the importance of on-time delivery. Skill in manpower management must possess huge experience and skills to deal with a huge number of workers. Excellent communication skills. To generate the master production plan in accordance to the requirements. Work closely with relevant departments (i.e. Production, Sales, Accounts, HR and etc) in meeting the commitment of master production plan. Generate the master production schedule (MPS) according to capacity of manpower, equipment and materials supply. Monitor factories performance against committed schedules and work with relevant parties to resolve bottle-neck problems in meeting the MPS. Work closely with materials section in ensuring the inventory goals are met and adequate supply to support production. Responsible for raw material reconciliation after order completion to ensure best possible utilization of materials and reduce wastage. Lead & drive continuous improvement of production efficiency, cost and minimize inventory. Factory Manager Responsibilities Factory managers have vital roles and are also known as commercial production managers. Their duties vary from supervising the entire unit of workers to overseeing plant operations.
