This Anti –virus not only use in only personal use purpose but also it use in various Industry,
scoop and colleges.

In more ways than one, Quick Heal Technologies today has gained a position of strength and
credibility on the AntiVirus map of the world. It is, for the company, the dawn of a new
perspective, no longer confined to domestic industry leadership but signifying the emergence of
a global institution with the caliber and competence that global presence demands

I studied the variance of products and companies market coverage and also competitor strength,
companies position in market like pune.

The project work is the study undertaken to ANALYSING IT SECURITY ADOPTATION IN


EDUCATION INSTITUTE IN & AROUND PUNE. IT security is the core business for
educational institute. So IT security plays an important role in this technical era.

The main theme of this project is, what type of security products or service uses
every educational institute and they are satisfied with these types of products.

Another important thing Quick Heal want to know, now a day new news viruses
come in market and they create problem so find out the name of virus and take proper step for
these viruses.

But if we consider about over all summer project the main motto of this summer
project understanding the security need of educational institute and also know what type
adaptation required for educational institute.

Project work had undergone in market place means educational Institute in Pune so
help to meet different type of respondent on the topic of analyzing.

INTRODUCTION

It is a research work under gone to know what type of security adaptation required for
Educational Institute.
This work is undertaken at one of the India’s leading Antivirus company Quick Heal
Antivirus Technology Pvt. Ltd. Wakedewadi, Shivaji Nagar, Pune -05.

Quick Heal Technologies is leading provider of Antivirus and Internet Security tools and is
leader in Anti-Virus Technology in India. A privately held company, Quick Heal Technologies
Pvt. Ltd. (formerly known as Cat Computer Services (P) Ltd.) was founded in 1993 and has
been actively involved in Research and Development of anti-virus software since then.

By the help of this research work we have known that what type of educational Security
Need for educational institute. We also known what types of Security product they have used
right now, they are satisfied with their current security product?

For this project work the research design opted was on stratified techniques and random
sampling techniques.

Sample size is 120 samples are the educational Institute; they have used various IT
security.

In this course of research work it was observed that It person satisfied or dissatisfied with
current security product.

Improving after sale service of workshop is suggested. It is also observed that Quick Heal
is the most selling Antivirus.

The response was overall positive regarding having IT security adaptation in Educational
Institute. During the period of research I have learned a lot but fade many difficulties too.

Incessant rain and inadequate public transportation system with in PMC and PCMC area
and connectivity problems added more difficulties.

Whatever knowledge and experience I have and what I have gained during the research
and have made suggestion and recommendation and it to the company. I think my suggestion
will benefit the organization.

The above mentioned were the brief summery of the project.

The project is designed to be self contained for the practical analysis; theoretical support is
giving a better understanding.

It was getting the awareness’ level of institute in and around Pune regarding IT security
Adaptations.

Now a day Most of Institute thinking about their IT security, that’s why they are used
various IT security products and they give more attention on Adaptation on IT Security Product.

Basically I have done my summer project in different type of college because now a day
every institute used It product but in various colleges like management, engineering and science
colleges used various type of security product and these colleges help me for developing a good
project.

This project has been undertaken to study Analyzing IT Security Adaptations among the
Educational Institute in Pune. The aim was find out the road which type security products used
various Institutes and calculate their satisfaction level about particular security system.

This study has the following objective:-

To find out the how much % awareness about IT Security system n Educational Institute

Which security product they have used right now?

To find out satisfaction and on dissatisfaction level on present IT security system


whatever they used right now.

What additional products required in this IT system.

My organization also wants to know who their competitor is how much & share them in
Educational Institute.

Sanjay Katkar is Chief Technical Officer and Technical Director of Quick Heal Technologies.

main scanning engine of Quick Heal on all platforms. He now leads the dedicated team of
software professionals in further development of various anti-virus modules on various platforms
and is responsible for design and development of new features in the product.

Mr. Sanjay is one of the Director of Association of Anti-Virus Researchers Asia (AAVAR). He is
one of the reporting members of The Wild List Organization International, USA.

Research is the careful investigation or enquiry especially through search for new facts in
any branches of knowledge.
According to Clifford WODDY “research comprises defined and redlining problems
formulating hypothesis or suggested solution collecting , organizing and evaluating data making
deduction and reaching conclusion to determine whether they fit the formulating hypothesis “.

Research method refers to the methods the research using performing research operation.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY:-

Research methodology is the way to systematically solve the research problem. It may be
understood as science of studying how research is done scientifically.

First and four more important things are to understand the market research problem.
There should be some objective related to the problem after defining objective and the efficient

• Quick Heal must focus on Linux system, according to market day by day its demand
will be high.

• I would like to suggest another thing according to market point of view in this time
new educational institute are open so it may be create good opportunity for selling

of Security Need of Educational Institute, in pune.
By the help of this topic I have gather lots of knowledge from the market. I know the who is
the market giant in case of educational institute in Antivirus Product in Pune. I from this summer
internship project who is the competitor of Quick Heal Antivirus. I know from this project is that
Quick Heal Antivirus has very good market and good acquisition power but retention power is
not very good.
