Kumbaga sa pagkopya ng assignment sa classmate mo, hindi ka basta basta nalang kokopya, kailangan mo munang humingi ng permiso dun sa kaklase mong nagpakahirap mag-isip ng sagot sa assignment niyo. Now, if they're giving out unauthorized softcopies, that would automatically mean na liable sila for infringement of copyright.

Now, Intellectual Property Code includes this part: Copyright. So, what is Copyright?

Copyright. Sabi ko nga, since kapag hindi nag-set yung author ng copyright sa na-publish niyang story, automatic na sineset ng wattpad yun into an "All Rights Reserved" copyright. Giving the writer the sole ownership sa work niya. And babalik tayo dun sa sinab i ko kanina na any unauthorized editing/ redistribution/ dissemination would make the m liable to the law. Ilang beses ko na ba nabanggit ang UNAUTHORIZED simula kagabi ? Anywayyy, unless the author decides to change the copyright terms of his/her pub lished story na mag-aallow sa iba na magkaroon ng copy nung published story niya eh yun at yun ang standard copyright term na ginagamit ng wattpad. Sa kanila kasi, nagdistribute sila ng softcopies. FOR FREE YES. But then again, UNAUTHORIZED REDISTRIBUTION OF THOSE STORIES ARE CONSIDERED AS INFRINGEMENT OF C OPYRIGHT. Kahit na sabihin nila na wattpad is a public site, meron parin silang copyrights. Just as well as any other sites. Kahit public domain sites, subject for copyrights din pero iba iba kasi ng type ng copyrights ang ginagamit ng iba' t ibang sites. As for wattpad, sabi ko nga, yung website itself is a public doma in, but yung mga nakapublish na story doon eh may copyrights. Most of 'em eh mak ikitaan mo ng "All Rights Reserved" type ng copyright.And may karapatan yung mga authors nung mga naredistribute na works na kasuhan sila or talk them into a se ttlement to resolve the issue.
