3 Tender Notice for Annual Maintenance Contract

Sealed quotations are invited from parties/firms for Comprehensive Maintenance Contract in respect of Computers and Peripherals (as per the Annexure- A enclosed) in the offices situated at various sections under jurisdiction of Office of the Assistant Commissioner of Central Excise, Customs & Service Tax, Rourkela-I Division, Rourkela. for a period of one year.
Terms and conditions : 1. One qualified Resident Service Engineer should be posted exclusively to attend to the AMC related work on permanent basis between 9.30 AM to 06.00 PM on all working days and the complaints are to be attended at once 2. The AMC shall cover comprehensive contract for repair & Maintenance of all parts of the subject Computers/peripherals and machines including Printer Heads / Key Boards / Mouse etc. 3. Maintenance shall include replacement of defective parts & installation of all kinds of Software including O.S., Virus scanning, etc., which will be provided by this office. 4. The Resident Service Engineers should maintain Log Registers of all calls attended/Pending issues/preventive maintenance records and details of all replacement of spares. 5. No component(s) / spare(s) / computer(s) shall be removed without informing the competent authority. 6 The faulty components of the subject Computers & Peripherals are to be rectified within the same working day. If not, necessary equivalent stand-by components / computer(s) shall be provided on the following day for smooth functioning of the office work. On default, a penalty of 1% of the total AMC charges will be deducted per day against downtime of more than 24 hours in an individual case where standby is not provided. The original component/computer(s) taken for rectification shall be returned within a weeks time after rectification.

7. Payments will be made on Half Yearly basis only after satisfactory completion

of each Half year. 8. The agreement shall be in force for 12 months and is liable to be terminated at any time by giving notice of one month by either party. The quotations in sealed cover super scribed as Tender for AMC for Computers & Peripherals in Rourkela-I Division may be sent to the office of The Assistant Commissioner Central Excise, Customs& service Tax Rourkela-I Division, Rourkela Sector-21 Nayabazar, Rourkela-769010(Orissa) So as to reach on or before 3.00 p.m. on 21.08.2013.
