PART 2 - PRODUCTS 2.01 FLOOR DRAINS (FD) Coated cast iron body with bottom outlet, combination invertible membrane clamp and adjustable collar with seepage slots. Outlet size to suit connected pipe work. 50 x 150 mm polished, nickel bronze, adjustable level grating. Primer trap connections shall be provided for Mechanical Room floor drains. Floor drain shall be as manufactures by Josam, Zurn or Jay. R. Smith. 2.02 FLOOR SINK (FS) Cast iron drain body with bottom outlet, flashing collar with protector cap and nickel bronze adjustable strainer head with secured square hole grate, Ptrap shall be 80 mm deep, as manufactured by Jay R. Smith, Zurn or Josam. 2.03 SHOWER DRAINS Coated cast iron body with bottom outlet, combination invertible membrane clamp and adjustable collar with seepage slots. Outlet size to suit connected pipe work. 150 mm diameter stainless steel, Grade 304, flanged, adjustable level grating with peripheral slot, self-securing as manufactured by Jay R. Smith, Zurn or Josam. 2.04 PLANTER DRAINS Coated cast iron body with bottom outlet, combination membrane flashing clamp and gravel guard. Outlet size to suit connected pipe work.Domed grating with fine stainless steel mesh screen secured in place by bolts. Planter drains shall be as manufactured by Jay R. Smith, Zurn or Josam.

Underground sewers within buildings, 8" and less in diameter shall have cleanouts at least 4" in diameter and not more than 90' apart. Provide cleanouts tees with plugs at the base of all soil and waste stacks. Provide cleanouts in all suspended horizontal drain lines and at changes of direction to allow rodding in the direction of flow. Cleanouts in the tile floors shall be adjustable with square top.

Floor Cleanouts (FCO) Floor cleanouts shall be of the coated cast iron floor cleanout type with an inside caulk connection with internally gasketed cleanout plug and an adjustable housing with a secured scoriated round satin nikaloy top, as per Josam , J.R. Smith or Zurn.

Wall Cleanout (WCO) Wall cleanouts shall be of the coated cast iron cleanout tee type with an internal recessed super seal tapped plug and hub and spigot connections. HOSE BIBS All hose bibs shall be 3/4 dia, of bronze or brass construction with integral mounting flange, rough chrome plated type finish and integral vacuum breakers etc as per ACRON Model 8121 or equal approved. All hose bib taps shall be complete with a hose union connection.

INSTALLATION A. B. Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Extend cleanouts to finished floor or wall surface. Lubricate threaded cleanouts plugs with mixture of graphite and linseed oil. Ensure clearance at cleanouts for rodding of drainage system. Encase exterior cleanouts in concrete flush with grade. Relief pipework from back flow preventors shall be taken to nearest drain. END OF SECTION
