Historically renowned temple of Thiruvidanthai is dedicated to Lord Adi Varaha Perumal (Lord Vishnu in the form of Wild Boar). Thiruvidanthai is the 62nd temple of 108 Divya Desam vishnu Temples.Mangalasasanam (Praised as a holy Shrine) to this temple was done by Thirumangai Alwar (One of the 12 Alwars Saints). This Sthalam (Temple) is one of the 22 Diya Desam Temples in Thondai Nadu. Nadu The temple is more than 1000 Years Old. Based on the inscriptions found in the temple, it is said to be built around 8th Century A.D. This temple well known to locals as Nithya Kalyana Perumal Temple. This temple is located nearChennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Sri Boodevi Sameda Sri Adi Sri Nithya Kalyana Perumal Varahar Description: 8 feet high (Approx.) Lord idol of Sri Adi Varaha has his consort Bhoomi Devi (Mother Earth) seated on his left thigh and lord's left leg is rested on the Hood of Adi Seshan (Five headed Serpent God) and Lord stands on his right leg (Nindra Kolam). Adi Seshan's Consort is also seen next to him. Uthsavar Idol of Sri Nithya Kalyana Perumal is seen in standing position with both his Consorts.Small Sannadhi for Sri Garudar is found right opposite to this Sannadhi. Thayar Sannadhi Sri Komalavalli Thayar Sri Komalavalli Thayar Description: Sri Komalavalli Thayar is Sri Lakshmis Swaroopam (Incarnation). She is found in Irunda Kolam (Seated Posture). She is the first consort among the 360 Consorts of Sri Nithya Kalyana Perumal. She has a Natural Drishti Pottu (Black Mark generally put on Marriage Bride's Cheek to protect her from evil eyes).

Description: Sri Andal is Sri Boomi Devi Swaroopam (Mother Earth). She is found in Nindra Kolam (Standing Posture). Ranganathar Sri Ranaganathar Sri Ranganathar Sannadhi Description: Here Sri Ranganathar Perumal, moolavar is found in Kidantha Kolam (Reclined Posture) on Adi Seshan (Five headed Serpent God). Sri Devi Nachiyar (Goddess Lakshmi) and Sri Boomidevi Nachiyar(Goddess Earth) is seated alongside with him. Uthsavar is Sri Ranganatha Perumal (Azhagiya Manavalan) is seen in standing posture with both his Consorts. There is also a separate shrine in front of this Sannadhi for Sri Ranganayaki Thayar.
