Rnds 2 and 3: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st around; join with sl st in first sc. Fasten off, leaving an arm's length of yarn for sewing later. BACK Ch 8. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across - 7 sc at the end of this row. Rows 2-14: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. Fasten off. ARMS AND LEGS (make 4) Leaving a 6 in. (15 cm) yarn tail to use as stuffing, ch 4, join with sl st in first ch to form a ring. Rnd 1: Ch 1, work 6 sc in ring. Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Rnd 3: Ch 1, (2 sc in next st, sc in next st) 3 times - 9 sc at the end of this rnd.

Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Fasten off, leaving a 9 in. (23 cm) yarn tail for sewing. NOSE Leaving a 3-4 in. (7.5-10 cm) yarn tail to use as stuffing, ch 4, join with sl st in first ch to form a ring. Rnd 1: Ch 1, work 6 sc in ring. Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Fasten off, leaving a 9 in. (23 cm) yarn tail for sewing. FINISHING Sew Back of Body to Front of Body. It may be easier to secure the two pieces together first, either with pins or by temporarily tying the corners together with a different colored yarn and then untying as you sew. Stuff Body lightly with fiberfill before sewing up the final side. To create the ears and head, see diagram. Thread 12 in. (30.5 cm) of yarn into blunt needle. Insert needle through the body, from left to right, about 1/3 from the top, where you'd imagine the head ends and the body starts. Bring needle out at the right side and then go back in just 1 row above and come out the top of the head, slightly to the right of center. Go back down through the head, slightly left of center (this creates the ears) and come back out 1 row above where you started on the left side. You can now pull gently on both ends of your yarn to tighten up the shape of the head. Don't pull too tightly, just enough to get some slight definition. Tie off and weave in ends. Use yarn tails of Arms, Legs and Nose to slightly stuff each piece before sewing to Body. To space everything more evenly, sew Legs on first, then Arms, then Nose. Weave in ends. Gummy Bear has many potential uses: ornament, hair clip, brooch, key-chain dangler, pencil topper. Make one Gummy Bear in each color of the Bonbons pack and create a colorful garland.
