GENERAL PRESENTATION

A. HISTORY, DEVELOPMENT, ORGANIZATION

“INDEPENDENTA” was founded in 1868 when the forge master Andreas

Rieger opened a workshop for the production of agricultural and textile tools for small
peasant households using artisan’s manufacturing methods.
The development of this core was continuously ascending during all the
stages passed up to the present, the company being permanently placed among the
important companies within the machine building industry from Romania.
The industrial tradition from this region of Romania, located in the middle
of Transilvania, the superior qualification of the workers and specialists, the diversification
of the production, the experience acquired within more than a century of existence,
represents tot atâtea guarantees for the human, technical and material potential, able to to
achieve a wide range of the products in quality and reliability which will meet the
customers requirements.
Our company is interested in the quality of the products delivered and in
complying with the international requests / of the European Union.
Since 1994, SC Independenta SA has prepared the manufacture for equipments produced
in a Quality Assurrance Sistem according to EN ISO9001:1994.
The company was audited, in this way, by TÜV SÜDDEUTSCHLAND
München with the authorization no. 12.100.9371 from 1998.Complyng to the new
international requests, SC Independenta SA adapted his Quality Assurrance Sistem
according to EN ISO 9001:2000 and obtained the acceptance, as a result of the audit
performed by TÜV SÜDDEUTSCHLAND, in 2004.
The export production was placed in the center of our concerns, the
company’s products being known in more than 40 countries from four continents
2/5
(Germany, Austria, Greece, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Poland, U.S.A., Iran, Irak, Turkey,
Pakistan, Egypt, China).
