JESUS CHRIST (PEACE BE UPON HIM) IN QUR'AAN

JESUS - THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH Al-Qur'aan, Chapter:2, Verse:136: Say, [O believers], "We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him." (2:136 & 3:84)

Al-Qur'aan, Chapter:5, Verse:46: "And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous". (5:46) Al-Qur'aan, Chapter:6, Verses:84-85: 84. "And We gave to Abraham - Isaac and Jacob - all [of them] We guided. And Noah, We guided before; and among his descendants, David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the doers of good. 85. And Zechariah and John and Jesus and Elias - and all were of the righteous". (6:84-85) -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE MIRACLES OF JESUS BY THE WILL OF ALLAH [The Day of Resurrection] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, remember My favor upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the Pure Spirit and you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and [remember] when I taught you writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and when you designed from clay [what was] like the form of a bird with My permission, then you breathed into it, and it became a bird with My permission; and you healed the blind and the leper with My permission; and when you brought forth the dead with My permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from [killing] you when you came to them with clear proofs and those who disbelieved among them said, "This is not but obvious magic." (5:110) -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

JESUS - A SERVANT OF ALLAH Al-Qur'aan, Chapter:43, Verses: 59-65: 59. Jesus was not but a servant upon whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel. 60. And if We willed, We could have made [instead] of you, angels succeeding [one another] on the earth. 61. And indeed, Jesus will be [a sign for] knowledge of the Hour, so be not in doubt of it, and follow Me. This is a straight path. 62. And never let Satan avert you. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy. 63. And when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, "I have come to you with wisdom and to make clear to you some of that over which you differ, so fear Allah and obey me. 64. Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path." 65. But the sects from among them differed [and separated], so woe to those who have wronged (by ascribing things to Jesus that are not true) from the punishment of a painful Day. (43:59-65) -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IT DOES NOT SUIT THE MAJESTY OF GOD TO HAVE A SON Al-Qur'aan, Chapter:Mariyam (Mary), Ch:19, V:88-95: 88. And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 89. Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 90. The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation. 91. That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 92. And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 93. There is no one in the heavens and the earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 94. He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 95. And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. (19:88-95) -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'BE' AND IT IS "Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was". (3:59) "It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is". (19:35) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------JESUS - A WORD (COMMAND) FROM GOD "O People of the Scripture (Jews & Christians), do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs". (4:171) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------JEWS & CHRISTIANS TOOK THE MESSENGERS TO BE SONS OF GOD Al-Qur'aan, Ch:9, V:30-31: 30. The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah"; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allah." That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded? 31. They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah, and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him. (9:30-31) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------JESUS - RAISED UP ALIVE [Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ. (3:55) Al-Qur'aan, Ch:4, V:157-158: 157. And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. 158. Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise. (4:157-158)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE RETURN OF JESUS (PEACE BE UPON HIM) BEFORE THE JUDGEMENT DAY " And indeed, (the descent of) Jesus will be [a sign for] knowledge of the Hour, so be not in doubt of it, and follow Me. This is a straight path". (43:61) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE CHRISTIANS WILL CORRECT THEIR BELIEF ABOUT JESUS IN HIS SECOND COMING "And there is none from the People of the Scripture (Jews & Christians) but that he will surely believe in Jesus (as only a Messenger of Allah and a human being) before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection he will be against them a witness. (4:159) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------TESTIMONY OF JESUS (PEACE BE UPON HIM) ON THE JUDGEMENT DAY Al-Qur'aan, Ch:5, V:116-118: 116. And [beware of the Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen. 117. I said not to them except what You commanded me - to worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them as long as I was among them; but when You took me up, You were the Observer over them, and You are, over all things, Witness. 118. If You should punish them - indeed they are Your servants; but if You forgive them - indeed it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (5:116-118) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------CALLING JESUS GOD IS DISBELIEF AND LEADS TO ETERNAL HELL FIRE "They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent". (5:17) Al-Qur'aan, Ch:5, V:72-75: 72. They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.

73. They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the third of three." And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment. 74. So will they not repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness? And Allah is Oft-Forgiving and Most Merciful 75. The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food. Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded". (5:72-75) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ALL THE MESSENGERS WERE SENT TO TEACH THE SAME RELIGION "He has ordained for you of (the same) religion what He enjoined upon Noah and that which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammed], and what We enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus - to establish the religion and not be divided therein. Difficult for those who associate others with Allah is that to which you invite them. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns back [to Him]". (42:13) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------JESUS FORETOLD THE COMING OF MUHAMMED (PEACE BE UPON HIM) Al-Qur'aan, Ch:61, V:6-7: 6. And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic." 7. And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah untruth while he is being invited to Islam. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. (61:6-7) -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE GREATEST SIN IS TO ASSOCIATE PARTNERS IN WORSHIP WITH GOD "Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with him, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases, and whoever sets up partners with Allah, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin". [Al-Qur'an 4:48] THE ONE WHO DIES JOINING PARTNERS WITH GOD, WILL NOT BE FORGIVEN "Verily! Allah forgives not (the sin of) setting up partners with Him, but He forgives whom he pleases sins other than that, and whoever sets up partners with Allah, has indeed strayed far away (from the right)". [4:116]

ASSOCIATING PARTNERS WITH GOD LEADS TO HELL FIRE FOREVER "They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him the Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers". (5:72) THOSE WHO REPENT, ARE FORGIVEN BY THE MOST MERCIFUL And whoever does evil or wrongs himself but afterwards seeks Allaahs forgiveness, he will find Allah Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful [4:110] "Will they not repent to Allah and ask His Forgiveness? For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful". (5:74) WORSHIP NONE BUT GOD Al-Qur'aan, Ch:2, V:21-22: 21. O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous. 22. [He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him]. (2:21-22)

The Glorious Quraan, Chapter 112, Verses 1-4:

1. Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One. 2. Allah, the Eternal, the Self-Sufficient. 3. He begets not, nor was He begotten; 4. And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him. (112:1-4)

"And your God is one God. There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful ". (2:163)
