10.1
Accessories
a) Closed steam coils of 2 diameter schedule 40 seamless steam pipe. b) Provision is to be made for spiral staircase and connecting catwalks as shown in the drawing. c) Sounding opening d) Air vents. f) Hand Railing and toe-boards at top of the tanks. g) Inter-connecting platform between tanks. h) Internal monkey ladders. i) Steam traps, valves, by-pass etc. The trap shall be type 25mm dia. with flange connection. j). Level indicating system comprising of SS float, pulley, wire rope, guide and indicator. Location to be decided at site for ease of sight. k) Temperatures gauge 100 mm diameter Badotherm SS body thermometer back/bottom entry c/w SS pockets Range 0120 C. l) One set of outlet pipe schedule 40 100mm NB and one scouring of 50m diameter shall install to the oil tank center sump to the outside. The 50m diameter & 100mm diameter oil outlet valve shall be CI body with SS ball/PTFE
Testing of tank after completion: The complete tanks shall be tested by filling with water in stage to be determined by the Engineer. Contractor to be responsible for the supply of labor, tools, equipment for the connection and supply of water to fill up the complete tanks for test to determine the degree of tank settlement and verticality. Calibration of the tanks shall be excluded and shall be carried out by a registered calibration company appointed by Employer. The complete steam coils shall be hydraulic tested to 6 bars and witness/verified by the Engineer or his representative. Contractor shall supply labor, tools, equipment, pressure gauges, water etc to carry the test and witness by the Engineer.

For tank external surfaces: -Under coat -finish coat : Red oxide / green primer : MIO finish
For the tank internal surface shall be wire brushed and cleaned before finally rubbed down with one coat of palm oil(in the process of filling water) which employer shall be responsible for the supply.
