Summary

Over all 9 years of extensive experience in design and project management. For the last three year I have been associated with Aga Khan planning & building service s which is a part of Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) where my key responsibilities are to manage development project including habitat risk reduction construction improvement, rehabilitation, seismic resistant building construction, rural and community capacity building projects across Pakistan. Prior joining Aga Khan, I was working as Sr. Structural Design Engineer at various design firms where my key responsibilities were designing of high-rise local and international buildings. I have extensive hands on experience of project planning, coordinating & supervising; project scheduling, costing and budgeting. I possess good working knowledge of building design code including UBC, ACI and proficiency of using structural design software.

Responsible for Design and Construction Management. Prepare estimates, construction schedules, progress and monthly reports. Provide construction direction and oversight to site team and contractors. Manage contractor site meetings, RFIs, invoices and control document process. Track project costs and schedule to ensure timely completion and within budget; procure extra budget funding where necessary. Involve in prequalification and Tender Process.

Project Completed Relief and Early Recovery Program. (Sindh and GBC, Pakistan) Role: Project Coordinator Construction management of 2800 shelters and1028 communal washrooms in 120 villages and covered around 22,000 people with health and hygiene training session in district Thatta, Pakistan that were affected by the flooding that devastated the country in the summer and fall of 2010. Project Worth: 3.5 Million dollars, funded by USAID/OFDA

Renovating and Retrofitting of Regional Hospital Mastuj, Chitral-KPK. Role: Project Manager Successfully manage and implement of rehabilitation of Government hospital under PPRA rules. Covered area is 25,000 sq.ft .Designed by H3 Architects and Mushtaq & Bilal. Project Worth: PKR 35 Million Construction of the 87 Bamyan Provincial Hospital, Afghanistan Involved in project initiation, prequalification /selection of consultant and construction firms, tender & bid process, reviewing of structural drawings and providing technical support to the construction team. .
