PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Hired global employees (Sydney, Mumbai & Prague) to assist in the creation of a new Internet
service. Results: Managed contractors through product development cycle to create the first
smart/social online alarm clock, Sleep.FM.
Crafted and hand coded Sleep.FM’s web design. Results: Web developer used design as blueprint to
code back-end, which ensured development requirements and deadlines were consistently met.
Guided graphic art direction and modified employee artwork using Photoshop. Results: Established
final designs for Sleep.FM’s user interface and marketing tools.
Marketed Internet start-up company, Sleep.FM to investors Results: Secured seed funding, legal,
accounting and mentoring services from the Philadelphia technology incubator, DreamIt Ventures.
Publicized company to high profile technology sites using social media tools. Results: Company
featured on Cnet.com , TechCrunch.com , ReadWriteWeb.com & more!
Promote Sleep.FM to founders of Meetup.com and TechCrunch.com. Results: Selected to present
Sleep.FM alongside Facebook & Microsoft at NY Tech Meetup to a crowd of 500; selected over 100s
of other Internet start-ups as a semi-finalist for the TechCrunch40 conference.
Retained and worked with patent and trademark attorney to research IP protection for Sleep.FM’s
Social Alarm Clock concept. Results: Received and reviewed 20 patents and made sound business
decisions in regards to patent and trademark filings for Sleep.FM.
Implemented personal marketing plan to find a career after college by accepting internships and
attending networking events such as National Association of Recording Merchandising. Results:
Among first three in graduating class to find successful career; selected by RCA Victor in New York
City.
Demonstrated Business-to-Business sales and customer service communication skills for major
telecommunication firm. Results: Consistently met and exceeded sales & service metrics; recognized
as a top representative for Verizon in November 2006 and February 2007.
Exhibited ability for customer rapport and knack for selling business for cable company. Results:
Continually met and or exceeded sales quotas; chosen as one of 40 from 150 representatives to work
at higher commission level.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, sensitivity to deadlines, and talent for functioning in high-
pressure record industry environment. Results: Originally assigned as Assistant to two directors; and
after two months of employment an additional four new managers were added to responsibilities.
