Drafting support:

Drawing creation of Piping outline, Isometrics and Pipe supports in AutoCAD Preparation of MTO and Line list. Furnishing inputs and mark ups to drafting for creation of Plot plans, piping outlines, isometrics Review of project specific requirements and prepare drafting instructions for the assigned piping systems. Review of 3D models, P&ID, vendor data, line list and provide comments. Review and Approval of BOM and drawing prior to final release Supervision of designers and draughtsman and their deliverables Responsible for the review and approval of Fabrication drawings of pipe spools and pipe supports. Preparation of GE-GE and GE-Customer piping interface details. Review of Equipment layout, piping Layouts, isometrics, detailed support drawings, MTO, Review of foundation layouts, Civil, Structural and Electrical Layouts to verify the consistency with piping design

Engineering support:
Responsible for working collaboratively with manufacturing team, Vendors\suppliers, Sourcing team, Site technical advisory team, field engineering team to drive product quality improvements, reduce costs while addressing technical issues Responsible for performing, Pipe size\ pipe thickness calculation, pressure drop, reinforcement pad thickness, flange leakage check, equipment nozzle load check etc. Responsible for co-ordination with structural team to completed support structure design for piping. Responsible for the calculation of Pipe size, Pipe wall thickness and pressure drop. Responsible for the 2-D Flow analysis of piping system Using Flow Master Software to finalize the pipe routing. Responsible for Coordination of inter and intra departmental activities during the execution of the project. Responsible for documentation of the Deliverables using software PLM, Pegasus. Responsible for updating the standard drawings based on the outcome of RCA of the field issues conducted.

Analysis support:
Responsible for the Identification and categorization of critical and non-critical lines based on project specifications. Responsible for performing static analysis for many gas turbine piping systems complying to ASME B31.3 code requirements. Responsible for Modelling, Analysis through CAESAR II program Responsible for compilation and documentation of analysis and calculation results; In addition completion of chief and principal engineers design reviews with no actions left to implement the design into the product. Preparation of Technical Specification and Ordering drawing of valves, spring hangers, expansion joints and other piping components based on the process and analysis requirements.

Field and manufacturing support:


Responsible for creating As-built drawings based on the site inputs and standardize the piping design.

Review and approval of Vendor documents, Supplier deviation requests and Non-Conformity Notifications from manufacturing. Responsible for conducting piping walk down for the installed piping system and creation of punch list in the event of any non-conformities with respect to the original design\drawing Responsible for studying vendor stress analysis reports and calculations and provide engineering comments. Responsible for review of vendor drawings( Equipments, Instruments, Valves and Specialties) Responsible for supervision of pipe installation, pipe supports, and piping component at site Responsible for conducting root cause analysis for field issues Responsible for mentoring and arranging regular Training sessions on basic piping concepts, Fundamentals of Piping Stress Analysis to entry level engineers and designers in the team

Drafting support:
Responsible for the inputs for creating Plot plans, piping outline and maintenance of complete interface control with various Interdisciplinary Agencies involved. Responsible for review of 3D models and provide comments.

Review of project requirements and provide Engineering inputs to drafting to generate drawings, BOM for assigned piping systems. Responsible for BOM and drawing review prior to manufacturing. Ensure of timely completion of engineering deliverables within the project schedule. Responsible for Supervising designers and draughtsman and their deliverables Responsible for drafting of Piping isometrics/ Pipe supports AutoCAD. Responsible for creation MTO, Line list generation. Responsible for checking of P&ID, vendor data, line list and isometric drawing necessary for flexibility analysis. Responsible for the preparation and checking of Fabrication drawings of pipe spools and pipe supports. Responsible for review of fabrication\construction drawings, foundation layouts and interface check. Responsible for Checking of Equipment and Piping Layouts and isometrics, checking of support sketches, MTO Checking. Responsible for review of Equipment layouts, Civil, Structural and Electrical Layouts.
