was said. REALTOR Pledge The REALTOR pledge was said. Call to Order: President Kelly Howie called the meeting to order at approximately 8:15 a.m. in the Association Office. Kris Brice, Ron Kroeger, and Chris Long were excused. All other officers and directors were present. Agenda: Lisa Mueller-Cox made a motion to approve the agenda as amended. Shawn Wood seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Minutes: It was noted the September 20, 2013 minutes were approved by email vote and have been distributed. The October meeting was cancelled; no minutes. Membership Applications: New REALTOR New Firm MLS Only:

Tanya Tschakert, The Real Estate Group First Choice Realty, LLC - Dave Butler Patricia Schultz, Heartland Real Estate

Stuart Martin moved to approve the applications pending completion of all membership requirements. Bart Miller seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Financial Report: Stuart Martin presented financial statements for September and October and moved to receive financials as presented. Bart Miller seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Kelly Howie briefly updated the Directors on the Convention numbers to date. Unfinished Business: Affiliate Sponsorship Update: For 2014, Installation, RPAC, ROTY, March, May, June, August, and September breakfast events have been confirmed. Directors were asked to work on the January and February 2014 sponsorships. New Business Black Hills Homebuilders: Kelly Howie brought forth a general discussion from an affiliate member regarding ways BHAR might consider enhancing its relationship with the Black Hills Homebuilders. Amy Bochman was asked to speak with the affiliate member. Survey: Kelly Howie noted that the idea of a membership survey had been brought forward again. Ron Balster moved to investigate the need for and define the purpose of a membership survey. Shawn Wood seconded the motion which passed with two opposed. Building Task Force: Kelly Howie reviewed the building needs and Directors reviewed the Building Plan as approved earlier this year. Committee Reports: NAR Conference: Kelly Howie, Bart Miller and Amy Bochman reported on the NAR Conference held in San Francisco last week. Executive Committee: Kelly Howie reported on the Strategic Plan. No recommendations were made this year. Vacancy Appointment: Per BHAR Bylaws, vacancies among the Officers and the Board of Directors shall be filled by a simple majority vote of the Board of Directors. At the subsequent annual election, the remaining portion of the vacated position shall be filled by membership vote.

With the election of Lisa Mueller-Cox to Secretary-Treasurer, her position as local Director shall be appointed until the next election. Kelly Howie moved to appoint Christopher Long; Tristan Emond seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Stuart Martin moved to go in to Executive Session; Bart Miller seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Executive Session Bart Miller moved to come out of Executive Session; Shawn Wood seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Kelly Howie moved to approve the 2014 budget as presented. Lisa Mueller-Cox seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Other: Ranchers Relief Fund: Bart Miller thanked the directors for their email vote to support the December 19th chili event and asked for their support in volunteering to serve. Available times are: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Ring the Bell Day: Bart Miller reminded everyone to sign up for the December 6 event. Mediation/ethics, membership numbers and meeting attendance, and under contract information were provided to the group. Kelly Howie moved to go in to Executive Session; Stuart Martin seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Stuart Martin moved to come out of Executive Session; Shawn Wood seconded the motion which passed unanimously. President Kelly Howie thanked outgoing Directors Kris Brice, Ron Balster, and Lisa Dorsey. With no future business, the meeting was adjourned.
