How to choose the right wooden aircraft propeller for our RC model?

RC hobbyists who want to make up a great model RC airplane by themselves must need to buy the relative components, the necessities including: battery, canopy, cowl, small gas engine or motor, fuselage, landing gear, propeller, spinner, transmitter, wings and etc. These major components are playing an important and unique role in the model airplane during it work. Well, among these components, propeller seems to be different because it turns and impels the airplane forward, without that, your model airplane cannot fly in the air. So how to choose good propeller is a big problem since we need to learn about the size of the product and also our model airplane's size. Wood airplane propellers are the first choice for RC modelers, since it is lightweight and less expensive, also the wood airplane propellers will not bend the engine crankshaft easily during making an impact with the ground. As some players would like to make a wooden propeller by handcraft, but that will cost a lot of time, and for the new players or players who do not want to waste time on doing a wooden propeller, buy one propeller from online store is easily. But, how to choose a wooden propeller? First, we should clearly about the size of our gasoline engine, break-in prop, 2 bladed propeller choices, 3 bladed propeller choices and 4 bladed propeller choices. Second, you should choose the propellers according to the size of your model gas engine:

Third, break-in propellers will lightly load the engine, at your first running of a new small gasoline engine; there will be some frictions between the piston, piston ring, cylinder wall and all other moving components. So, you cannot break-in the engine on the ground. And make sure the engine runs reliably first! This can take as long as is required, but don't run the engine on the ground in an effort to break it in. There is not enough air to cool the engine. After break-in your new gas engine well, then you can going to do other things, and after prepared everything well, you are be able to enjoy a good experience with your model RC airplane.
