2 had carefully chosen his powerful words in a magnificent method to let the new Stanford graduates students approach his message in an intelligent unique technique in his speech. Steve started his message with only three stories of his life. The first stage of his life was connecting the dots. First, he mentioned at the beginning of his speech that he dropped out of college after 6 months. Secondly, he began with when he was born. Obviously, Steve was trying to find the common ground between him and the audiences; he could initiate with when he was born first but by manipulating in the manner of the time consequences he started with dropping out of collage to give the sing that he started as student but end up as CEO of Apple. However, he began his life story with when his biological mother left him for adoption. In fact, she was an irresponsible and unmarried mom. I strongly believe Steve was trying to prove for the audiences who had similar circumstances that they could be useful and creative individual in the society even though if they are destitute background as unwanted kid. As a matter of fact, most of the underprivileged people in the world can reach success because of the bad consequences that they faced throughout their lives. If I had never dropped out, I would have never dropped in on this calligraphy class, and personal computers might not have the wonderful typography that they do (Jobs). At this point Jobs had clearly delivered his ethos toward graduates students.

One of the second statements narrated by Steve jobs is, My second story is about love and loss (Jobs). This statement embodies the sentiment of ethos throughout his speech. Jobs approached his audience in a manner that he utilized the words love and loss. Jobs found what he loved in his early life. Woz and I started Apple in my parents

3 garage when I was 20. We worked hard, and in 10 years Apple had grown from just the two of us in a garage into a $2 billion company with over 4000 employees. We had just released our finest creation the Macintosh a year earlier, and I had just turned 30. And then I got fired. Jobs was giving his an individual experience across the grads. From his quote we can learn a lot. Frist of all, he gave clear indicter to his audience that they should follow their passions no matter what for their success is in their own hands. Secondly, he wanted to show that nothing is impossible in life every thing is possible with discipline and dedication. Although he was very successful and brilliant man, he was fired from his own company. After a decade Jobs did a careless mistake that cost him losing the company that he established. What had been the focus of my entire adult life was gone, and it was devastating (Jobs). Not only that but also, he aforementioned about his third story.

Steve had well organized his own speech under three categorize as in his opener of his third story he said, My third story is about death. The statement has its particular simplicity about destiny in life; however, his phrase had built its own logos of his argument. He continued, Even people who want to go heaven do not want to die to go there. And yet death is the destination we all share (Jobs). He was immensely frank and opened to demonstrate his audience that they have the same destiny because we all human being and we all are going to die. Thus, they have to be decisive in life and they should live with their time. What he mean by that is following their dream and passion to live without regrets.

4 It goes without saying Steve Jobs had scarifies a lot in his life. He used multiple phrases that his story flow in the order that let the audience be engaged emotionally. The word that he used was simple and real effective to the Stanford graduates to create their path in life. He structured the time throughout his speech by utilizing ethos, pathos, and logos.
Comment [D2]: While you have done a goodjob (despite some ungrammatical sentences) of summarizing the content of his speech, you are not fulfilling the assignment to analyze it rhetorically according to the categories of ethos, pathos, and logos. You mention these terms only in the last sentence, but you are not really deploying them as modes of analysis throughout the paper.
