Detention Tapware
The Detention tapware series has been designed to provide a high level of security with the inclusion of vandal resistant features. Enware Australias extensive product range has tapware for all applications, from the high risk compact cell through to minimum security day detention facilities. The series is designed to incorporate a smooth cleanline chrome plated finish, whilst eliminating horizontal surfaces. The conical handle utilises the latest ceramic disc technology, whilst the push button unit activates a self closing or timed flow valve as required. Anti rotation pins and security locking screws are another feature to further inhibit tampering. The tapware can be supplied with hot, cold or warm buttons with integral flow regulation to provide controlled management of water consumption. Also available is the Enmatic range of sensor activated electronic tapware providing a reliable and programmable interface for water usage. Enware also supply the Aquablend range of Thermostatic Mixing Valves to satisfy the hot water temperature delivery requirements of AS3500.4.

Detention Tapware
The Enmatic electronic detention tapware range provides a reliable and controlled interface between the user and the flow of water through the shower, basin or cistern. This non obtrusive robust product replaces protruding tapware with a compact, vandal resistant, low maintenance system, which provides a level of control by institution operators. *Warm water for ablutions may be delivered through an Aquablend approved thermostatic mixing valve to satisfy the requirements of AS3500.4. The touch sensor, which operates through electrical signals generated by the user, is mounted on a 3mm stainless steel panel, which is mounted to the wall from the rear. The *DET617 Outlet electronic box is housed within the rear access duct for easy servicing. With no moving *DET601 Push button assembly or mechanical parts these contact operated units will have no impact on any of the electrical circuiting found in most detention centres. With a built-in timing mechanism, which may be adjusted to suit facility needs. The unit provides control over frequency of use, and safeguards against excessive use of water. The units are supplied complete with electronics, 3/8" approved solenoid valve and run off a 24V. A.C power pack, supplied with a two-metre lead. Nominal time periods are accurate to within +-5%. To provide total operator control the units automatically reset when power is shut down. To assist with installation the unit may be recessed into single block work, or may be supplied with extended bolts for rear access in duct installations.
