Items to be Included in the Investment Programme
* Waste Storage Containers, Collection Vehicles & Bring banks * A sanitary landfill for disposal of non-hazardous wastes with gas collection system, leachate treatment plant, etc. * Rehabilitation of the 7 current dump sites. * Pilot scale composting plant (5,000 tons/year) at the landfill site.
* Materials recovery facility (MRF) at the landfill site.

* Two transfer stations in Bigadic and Susurluk . * Sterilisation Facility for medical wastes at the landfill site.

The contractor shall on basis of given process specifications and conceptual designs carry out the detailed design of general, process, architectural, mechanical, electrical and structural drawings for: Transfer stations Rehabilitation of existing dump sites Medical Waste Sterilization Unit Material Recovery Facility
Further the Contractor shall prepare:
detailed design for all concrete structures comprising retaining walls ramps, inspection pump shafts, light pole foundations etc.
layouts, structural, electrical and mechanical drawings in accordance with the requirements given in these Particular Technical Specifications for all buildings.

All detailed designs shall be performed by the Contractor and submitted to Engineer and Contracting Authority for approval. All necessary surveying and mapping studies, geological and geotechnical investigations shall be made by Contractor in the beginning. The Contractor shall further obtain all relevant approvals and permits from local authorities, owners, etc. Power supply overhead lines will be brought to the Landfill sites by the local electric distribution company and located in accordance with instructions of the municipality. The Contractor has to prepare drawings for correct location of electrical overhead line poles. All detailed designs shall comply with relevant Turkish legislation and regulations and shall be made according to the specifications and requirements given in this document.

The Contractor shall perform the works at: 1. Landfill Site;
2. Transfer Station Sites

3. Rehabilitation Sites The types of works are involved are listed below: 1. Landfill, including Preparatory Works Earthworks Bottom Sealing System Leachate Drainage System Leachate Collection Lagoon Leachate Treatment Plant Internal Roads Administrative Building

Observation Wells Water supply and fire water system Sewage system Stormwater ditches Water tank Landscaping Other civil works as per tender dossier
