Helvetica has a clean and open shape that can deliver messages clearly and efficiently. It is widely used in all kinds of design. I chose it in my design to possibly make the logo practical and professional.

I chose a bright vibrant color palette as the theme color of logo. I hope the colors could allow people to percieve the international house as a friendly and welcoming place. It also displays the diversity maintained by the community.

The logo consists of letter is shaped in a circle. The i is the first letter of ihouse. In addition, as ECIR people describe themsleves as an intentional international intercultural interfaith living learning community, I used is to emphasize these charactertics. The i also looks like a person and the circle is the earth. The logo tries to imply that a variety of people around the world are getting togerther in this community. Compared to the other logos, this one integrates several concepts that I would like to express together harmoniously. It has very lively colors and a circle shape.
