The questions are posted below. 1. What drives people to want to pretend to do these things? 2. How can society develop a way to regulate these games and still be fair? 3. What kind of mental issues can cause people to take a stronger influence? 4. What are some ways to regulate violent video games? 5. What negative health affects can happen while playing violent video games? 6. What other influences could cause an individual to be affected more by violent video games? 7. What drives a person to play video games for hours? 8. How are some individuals affected more then others? 9. Why do some parents purchase these games for their children? 10. . Technology has drastically increased in the past decade and is taking a negative effect on Generation X. In what ways has music, movies, and video games influenced the use of weapons and violence in society? One of the most graphic and violent video game is Grand Theft Auto. Though the media influences some people it does not affect all. The opposing side looks at the fact that it does not affect all people who use it, that there must be something wrong with the individual to begin with. It is agreed that those people can have deeper-rooted issues, but does the media give them the extra push to commit homicide? The connection between homicides in violent video games is prevalent in society today. Technology has rapidly increased in the past decade. Purchasing violent video games has become more accessible to younger generations. Most parents who buy an adult-rated game for their teenager most likely do not regulate the time their kids spend playing the game. Why do some parents purchase these games for their children? Playing any game for hours on end is unhealthy especially teenagers that are greatly affected by influence. Violence is not only found in video games, but also in music, movies, and TV. Generation X has grown up surrounded by these things and its influence can hit harder on certain individuals. How are some individuals affected more then others? There is not always someone there to draw the limit for gamers. Taking human interaction out of life can cause these people to look at the lives of normal citizens in a non-real way and is made more easy for those people to kill.

Walls 2 On the agreeing side, technology has quickly increased over the decade and has made purchasing adult games easy. With technology at the tip of our figures it becomes easy to block out reality. People have less motivation go out and have human interaction. Why leave your room to meet people when you can communicate with them a hundred different ways. We have become so focused on technology that it directly affects our health. Being in front of a computer screen for hours on end is unhealthy for anyone. What drives a person to play video games for hours? It becomes easy to start to loose the line between fantasy and reality. People start to fantasize about their non-real world in their actual world becomes more of a game. I believe that media violence is not affect by everyone and people who are greatly influenced by it have something prior imbalanced. What other influences could cause an individual to be affected more by violent video games? I believe those people can be pushed to do something violent when they are surrounded by its influence. They are no longer thinking in terms of all mankind but rather what they have fantasized about. It is important that people have more self-control when playing these games to where they are not constantly behind a screen. Parents must regulate a childs time playing games and to look at what games they are playing. The government should also regulate what is appropriate to be stocked on selves. What negative health affects can happen while playing violent video games? Children can still access adult rated games and besides the fact it is not healthy for anyone to play those games for extended periods of time. What are some ways to regulate violent video games? On the opposing side, others disagree that violent games do not have any effect on people and should not be regulated. What kind of mental issues can cause people to take a stronger influence? Some research has suggested

Walls 3 psychopaths may have a chemical imbalance to the frontal lubes of the brain. I believe people that commit homicides are psychopaths with or without violent video games. Even psychopaths exposure to violent video games will not change their pre-disposition. It would not be fair to take away violent video games from people who are not as heavily affected by it. It should be the individuals fault for not drawing the line between fantasy and reality. People should be held accountable for their health and drawing lines. There should be more focus on how many people it does not have effect on. It should not be the governments decision to regulate it for everyone. Whether a violent video games effect less people in drastic ways, its about the people that it does affect. How can society develop a way to regulate these games and still be fair? I believe that some people are psychopaths, and games can be a final push to someone to commit homicide. It may seem unfair to those that can control it, but I dont believe its worth the lives it can take. Either way it is unhealthy for anyone to play violent games. I do not see the joy in pretending to kill, steal, and rape another person. What drives people to want to pretend to do these things? I believe it is sick that anyone would want to play games like that in the first place. There is a definite connection between homicide rates and violent video games.
