Coal ash The coa| ash generat|on was 9.3 m||||on tons |n 2011 (7.1 m||||on tons o |y ash and 2.2 m||||on tons o bottom ash ) that showed about 55% |ncrease over the amount generated |n 2005 due to add|t|on o new coa|-|red power p|ants.
