----------------------- Real SID Play v4.

04 ----------------------Coded by The Burglar/SCS*TRC in 1997 This Player for a REAL C=64 will play most (I'd say 90%) tunes in PlaySID/SIDPlay format. Get the HV-Sid collection and listen to all your favourite C=64 music. After you have started the player, the SID Driver will be activated, now you can just load"sidname",8,1 and the Driver will do the rest. While the music is playing Press 'Left-Arrow' to Fast Press 'SPACE' to Listen to will restart Press 'CBM-Key' to go back you can do 3 things: Forward. the next song, or if there are no others, it the only present song. to basic, with Real SID Play still installed.

Type 'sys 333' to Restart the Real SID Player. Please remind that this is still a beta-version, updates will be released on IRC (#c-64) and on The Digital Dungeon: ftp://utopia.hacktic.nl/pub/c64/Music/SidPlay/ Some SIDs might not work/crash the driver, cause the SID will overlap the Driver, I will release some re-located versions later. To get the SIDs, I recommend you use the High Voltage SID Collection. Check http://www.dhp.com/~shark/c64music/ The HVSIDs are online on The Digital Dungeon, but I suggest you try that link aswell. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at burglar@replay.com Make sure you regularly check The Digital Dungeon! if you do). I still have some things I still need to try out, and a Kernal Load version will see daylight soon. As for now, the NMI Player will NOT work correctly, I'll give you a list here of songs that will work with it soon. v3.07 * Fourth Public Release - I implemented a Kernal Loader, as it was requested by many. You can select the type of loader when you RUN the Player. Please notify me of any bugs/remarks. - Playing Time is also now displayed. - You can also find a relocated version here: Type 'sys 51200' or 'sys $c800' to start it. * Fifth Public Release - Fixed a little bug in the 1541 Fastloader.

v3.08

v3.09 - v3.31 * Unreleased Beta Versions. v4.00 * Sixth Public Release - Removed the NMI player, as it clearly wasn't working. - Added a better quit-routine, the driver now doesn't reset the computer anymore, but kicks back to basic with the RealSIDPlayer still installed. - Recoded some of the SidPlay/PlaySid detection routines, now even more tunes will play. - Recoded the actual IRQ player, it now accepts sids with their own IRQ player aswell. - Added a routine which allows to play sids that are located under the screen ram ($0400-$0800), however, use the rsp version located at $c800 if the sid exceeds $0800. * Seventh Public Release - Fixed a minor bug in the IRQ player. * Eighth Public Release - Fixed to work on several bad rips using sei/cli in the init routine. - Fixed the Playtime to work 100% when fastforwarding a sid. * Unreleased beta version * Nineth Public Release - Added double/quadro speed detection and player. - Added NTSC/PAL detection and player, however, it doesn't use the Speed Tabels in the psid/sidp format yet. - Added a few fancy colors.
