Development Fund 2013-2014: Membership Grant Call for Applications

The Development Fund Committee of the International Pharmaceutical Students Federation (IPSF) is delighted to announce the timetable for applications to the Development Fund 2013-2014: Membership Grant. This grant will be awarded in order to pay the IPSF Annual Membership Fee 20132014. The accompanying information should be read in conjunction with the official application form and the committee will only consider properly submitted applications. The application deadline will be the 31st of December 2013. Aim The aim of the IPSF Development Fund is to promote the objectives of IPSF by making it possible for student organisations to maintain IPSF membership regardless of their financial circumstances. The Development Fund Committee meets this aim by awarding IPSF Annual Membership Fee Grants and as a result enables the implementation of IPSF campaigns and projects within as many countries as possible. Criteria Member organisations who wish to apply:
Must be either a Full Member or a Member in Association of IPSF Must represent a low or lower middle income country (as defined by the World Bank list of Economies), Must have tried to obtain sponsorship to meet some of the cost of the membership fee Must have held IPSF membership for at least one full year previously Must organise an IPSF campaign, project or event in the 12 months following receipt of the grant Must submit an article to the IPSF News Bulletin or IPSF Newsletter detailing an IPSF activity held by the member organisation. The IPSF Student Exchange Program (unless this will be the first year that the particular country has hosted a SEP student) or attending an IPSF event outside of the member organisations country does not fulfill the requirements of the IPSF event.

In addition a member country may only apply for a Development Fund Grant on two occasions within a consecutive three year period. Decision All applications will be considered by the Development Fund Committee and successful applicants will be notified by the committee before the 1st of Februari 2014.
